Hi Mary Ellen, You have two memorials in the Evans Cemetery in Allenstown, NH & I think they should probably be in the Evans Cemetery in BOW, NH. I know they are not in the Allenstown cemetery. They are Anthon Colby # 38808173 & his wife Jessie # 38808315.

If I may say, hello cousin!
My lineage to John M Saunders is via my mother's lineage, Patricia H Knapp Hetzler Memorial# 148202565. The memorials follow memorial# 96357929, # 88798740, # 40179455, his wife # 40179455, and her mother # 10054163 Sarah Augusta Saunders Tong. Sarah Had a beautiful Cherry bed with canopy. I understand a cousin had used it at least through recent times.

Mary Ellen, Ezra is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
I am searching for a link from Ezra to his father John M.
I see the birth date noted. Where did you obtain this info.
I have tried contacting Poundridge and the State to no avail.

I have seen today on your memorial for John Saunders that you list the youngest child as being a Sarah A Saunders. This is news and comes after I just recently confirmed that Sarah A, the wife of Thomas B Tong, is Sarah Augusta Saunders Tong. Before this recent news as it has not been known by my family what her maiden name had been. I am awaiting a copy of a family document referencing her name. Now we have your posting on John Saunders memorial page too! I have reviewed the SAR application document for John Saunders descendants. They list his year of birth as 1748, not 1784 as listed; the 1748 makes sense with his service during the Revolutionary War. He would have been 72 at Sarah's birth. I would like to ask if you have any other documents for his family. I would be interested to share. Sarah Augusta Saunders Tong memorial listed as Find A Grave Memorial# 100541634. Appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you so Much for your quick response. I don't know what I was thinking. I KNOW it has to be done the other way... It would make it so much easier if it could be done both ways. Thank You for doing the tribute memorials for Edward and Susan Munter Johnson. Sharon

I have read that account. I just had someone search the Old Willington Hill Cemetery for the grave site of William and it was not to be found. I went to the Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol.2, p. Serial: ; Volume:
you will find this entry:
Name: William Johnson
Cemetery: Waterman Hill Cem
Location: Norwich, Windsor Co VT 72
Reference: Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol.2, p. Serial: ; Volume:
He was one of the early settlers of Norwich, Vermont.
Just asking that other avenues be explored. Thank you.
