Thank you very much for the photos! They are very helpful even though the one stone was hard to read. I'm very great full that you took the time to take them for me :)

|B Green Nichols||More relatives...|
Golly, you folks have done so much valuable research...with results. I am a descendent of Francis Green and Polly Stephens Green. Their daughter Amanda Green m. Charles Inman. Her brother, Abial B. Green was my ggg grandfather? I am daughter of Durwood Green, (Hart Cemetery). He was son on Clyde G. Green and Hazel Green Green. (Meade.) Clyde's parents Adelbert Green & Allie Giddings. Adelbert Green p. Abial Green & Louisa DeGroff. Abials' parents Francis Green & Polly Stephens. Amanda Inman was Abial Green's sister. Hence, the connection. I think I have it right. Abial and Louisa are buried in Meade Cemetery. Their youngest dau m. William D. Parker. That was my ggrandfathers' son and from my mothers' side of the family. Joshua Clark Parker. They are buried at Hart Cemetery on Chesterfield Rd. My parents are there as well. I reside in Port Huron now, after several years in Texas. There are five Clyde Greens in this family. Thank you. Barbara Green Nichols

My husband's stepfather is a descendent of this line. Catherine Shaffer's daughter, Jennie, married Albert Sprankell. Albert is my stepfather-in-law's grandfather. Sometimes I find myself on a distant branch of my tree :)

|Dawn Bininger||Virginia Ridge Cemetery Ohio|
Hi there. I noticed you have a nice photo on here of Virginia Ridge Cemetery in Muskingum County Ohio. We went down there today to specifically find this cemetery and after over an hour of searching, we walked away photo less...We stopped and asked two locals as well and none of them could direct us here. Do you have any specific directions that you can remember on how to locate this cemetery? Is it on private land?? Thank you so much. I am researching some Boyd family members...Dawn

Art was a great guy-at the funeral I told some family members about Findagrave, and they told me they would join, I am awaiting them to join and write a personal bio.

|Lynn Warren||RE: Lydia & Louis Davis|
Alice & Don,
Thank you for the quick search regarding my photo request for Lydia & Louis Davis in the Clinton Grove Cemetery. Since Lydia was born in 1839 I do not believe the Lydia Davis that you found in the Clinton Grove Cemetery is the one I am looking for. Please delete the photo you posted to her Memorial.
I had assumed that Louis (Lewis) and Lydia Davis were both buried in the Clinton Grove Cemetery because the Mt. Clemens Library Cemetery Index indicated that someone by the name of Lydia Davis was buried in the Clinton Grove Cemetery. However, I just found that her husband, Lewis P. Davis, is buried in the Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit, the same place as their daugher, Irene Davis.
I have already transferred the Memorial for Louis Davis to the Woodmere Cemetery, and as soon as you delete the photo you posted on Lydia's Memorial I will transfer her Memorial to the Woodmere Cemetery also.
Thanks again for checking the Clinton Grove Cemetery records for me.

|Amanda Moss||DeSlover connection?|
Hello Alice & Don,
I'm curious on your relation to Valer DeSlover? He is an ancestor of mine and would like to know your connection, out of curiousity of course.
I also couldn't help but see a duplicate on your file for him (didn't know if you are aware of it). In addition, I noticed you have only one DeSlover (there are several buried in that cemetery that are related to him - also didn't know if you are aware of it).
I'd like to connect with you someday, I am in Sterling Heights and am fascinated by family history.

|corgilover||RE: Velma Lucille Shafer Hammons|
I grew up within site of Ridge Cemetery. When I started looking for relatives I found there were not many Van Wert Cemeteries listed, so for the last several years that has been my project.
I started just doing my relatives then while I am here I will do memorials on either side, then I started doing the row, then sections and before long I was doing whole cemeteries. I have a picture for everyone in Ridge I just do not have them all entered yet.
The Hammons are a very very very distant relation through marriage to my husband.

Thank you for searching for and finding all of the gravestones I requested photos of in the Davis Cemetery. Nice to get photos of those older ones before they deteriorate and can't be read anymore.

Yes, I would like the obits. I would like you to transfer these three to me. You can add the obits before, or send them to me and I will add them.

Any chance of an obit easily available for her?
She may or may not be a part of the other Kingscotts in that cemetery.

Thankyou Alice for the pics in the Dubay interments.
We appreciate the good work you do in helping others to find their Ancestors and friends so very much , and again I will try to put the requests in spring and summer instead of the winter months from now on . I know how it is when there is snow on the ground and a headstone may not be found under the snow very well.
