I've photographed Marjorie E. Graves, 1917-1980, even though your request was for Margaret, as the dates were the same. Hope this is correct.

Thank you,

Robert Loflin
Hi MIKE, I know I havnt contacted you in awhile now but I wanted to say thank you for the info you gave me on my dad Robert "Bob" Loflin. I have been able to make contact with my Steve and Karen as well as my sisters Keri and Sylvia. Keri lives just minutes from me but has no interest in meeting, Sylvia and I have kept in contact for about the past 6 months on a weekly basis. This weekend I'm actually making the 900 mile trip to go meet her in person for the 1st time. Thanks to you I was able to solve some unanswered questions and find siblings I never knew I had. I can't thank you enough MIKE. I will get back to you after the weekend.

Someplace in Missouri about 15 years ago, but I don't recall the exact store. I was there for a week or 10 days and traveled all around, shopping at lots of antique stores in the Kansas City vicinity.

I love being able to add some of the old photos I find to Find A Grave! At least people for generations to come will (hopefully) be able to see them!

I actually bought the photos in Missouri maybe 10 or 15 years ago. I could not find anything much on the family at the time and put them in my notebook of other old photos I've purchased to research! I'm slowly going through the album now (I had hundreds of photos) and trying again! Lots more genealogy online now than there used to be. I have them listed on ebay at the present time for the same price I paid for them ($2 each/$16 for all 8). Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Mike, just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your brother Doug. Thanks so much for remembering my boys, especially Danny. Somehow I feel as though there is a connection between you and him. I can't help but smile when I see that Firebird. Thanks so much. This is my first Christmas without him. I know you understand.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Your friend,

Harrison Loflin
Hello Mike -

I am descended from Harrison Leonard Loflin through Sarah Jane. I see we are cousins. It would be interesting to compare notes sometime on the Loflins. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi! =)
Dear Mike,
I jumped back over here because something was bugging me, and then I realized when I got back over to your page that I had forgotten to visit your brother and other names to the left. That's how bad my vision is, now - I have the Lincoln Continental of shades that I wear every waking minute, now, and that has helped my being able to 'cut down' the light and glare, which are both ominous for me...but the new glasses don't help my blind side, and if I'm too tired - or flaky - to to turn my head, yep, I miss some of the computer screen right in front of me. I think I am just falling apart sometimes, I'll tell you. ha! I did remember the quote you had on your brother's page about looking to the sky and the West, though, and thought he'd like the token I chose this time...and I visited the others, too. Anyhow, re transfer of pages - if the person who put them UP on the site has gone on Home, then FGrave usually takes over their pages unless the member set things up beforehand, to have a friend or family member 'take them over' can message administration and ask whether you could take whatever page it is over. Is that what you meant? I know that I have sponsored a couple of pages without knowing that the person who originally listed them has passed on, and FG immediately switched management to me...which is fine. I don't know whether that was coincidental or not...but let me know if you meant something different? Anyhow, good to hear from you, too - I have basically been behind for a year on here, but I'm trying to get caught up - have a good holiday weekend, and stay in touch. Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Dear Mike,
Thank You for visiting my pages - I am always behind on my own visiting, but I just went over to your small cemetery and will send some other folks that way...I didn't realize that we hadn't visited or highlighted anything for you! I am a little back to my fighting strength after the last year; health issues and my mom's loss really just had me down for the count, but enough sitting around... I always say I'm like tornado warnings in Illinois summer - I'll keep coming back round til everyone's sick of me. ha! Anyhow, lots of love and take care - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Thanks Joyce
It was my pleasure. I've done that myself. I'm glad you straighten it out.

On your bio page, you have 'My grandfather' which is underlioned, and 'my dear brother' underlined. If people click on those two lines, it comes up wrong. Where you have the link for Gertrude Loflin, in the edit bio page, put a after her name. Same with the Mervyn Howard name, put a adter the name. This way it won't interfer with the 'My grandfather' or 'and mt dear brother' quotes. They should not be underlined. I hope that helps you

...Mike. I love the short, simple sentiment that you said today for Audie Murphy, for his birthday, and I couldn't agree more. It was so true, he was "a man among men"...

Have a great weekend.
