ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

Just found
your note in the flowers section and transfer your ancestor to you. The best way to request a transfer is to click "edit" then click "send a correction". If I have others of your kin, always happy to transfer!

Inez Miles
I am not related to Inez, I found a news article on her burial that I put on her Find A Grave site. But I still can not find a death record for her.

I have made most of the changes you suggested. I did not feel it was appropriate to put in her SS# and I am not sure how or if I should put in both of the Williams and Deel names. If you are truly sure of this information and given that I am not fully willing to add the info myself, I think I will if you want, transfer the memorial to you and you can take the credit for it.

RE: Laura Ann Sisk
Hi Edna,
I don't believe Laura Ann is the daughter of Ernest and Sarah as death records list Laura's mothers maiden name as Peterson.
I have not been able to locate any children for Ernest and Sarah. The 1910 census has Ernest in Alderson, Pittsburg, Oklahoma and he is single. His WWI draft registration Still shows him in Pittsburg Co, OK. The 1920 census has Ernest and Sarah married and renting in Prices Chapel, Sequoyah Co., Oklahoma. The next official records I have found are the death register for Ernest dying in Modesto.
I have information that Ernest's father was Josiah Seth Sisk 1854-1910, mother Mary Clementine Woods 1854-1929 but I have not checked any further.
Sorry I can't help any further.

Nancy Berry Hopper
I noticed that you have the grave of Nancy Berry Hopper at Scaffold Lick Cemetery in Scott Co. Her parents were John William Berry and Clarinda Monroe (not Mound). Could you please correct that.
