RE: coots
Hello Clarence,
I wish I could help you with info . I have researched the families of McCuiston/McQuiston and have found two marriage records with the same date and place for Mary McCuiston. One states her husband as John Cook and one as John Coots. I'm interested in the John Cook. Buffalo Presbyterian church in Guilford County was where some of the McCuistons attended. According to records from early families of Guilford County Robert McQuiston lived near Horsepen Creek and his wife was named Anne. Their Children were Moses, Walter, James, Robert , Jean, Margery, Sarah and Mary. The record states that Mary Married John Coots in 1769 and that she was his second wife. I do know that there were three McQuiston/McCuiston brothers who were members of the Nottingham Colony, Thomas, Robert and James. Also there is a book "The Descendants of John McCuiston" it might help.
Kind regards

Hi Clarence:
Contact the Registrar at your local Sons of the American Revolution and Sons of 1812 organizations and let them know of your desire to join. Give them your patriots names and they will provide you the applications and help you with your proof. Attend the monthly meetings and get to know the group. I know you'll enjoy it! Janie

RE: clifton worrell
You can only link a person to their spouse and/or their parents.

Link each child to the parents and then the siblings will show up on each individual child's memorial.

RE: Dotson
If you will look at Mary Lelar Dotson Langston's memorial #68628684, I located 4 of her siblings.

Per TX Marriage Index, J. W. Dotson married M. F. Harmon on 8-31-1876 in Rusk Co. Tx.

Per 1900 Census of Smith Co. Tx..
Mary F. Dotson was born Feb. 1851 in Tx.
James Dotson was born Apr. 1858 in Al.

At least 1 of the children's D/C indicates Mary Frances Harmon was born in Smith Co. Tx.

RE: normal dotson
Hi, Clarence:

Please go to the memorial for Normal Dotson, click on the 'Edit' tab at top right of page, and then click on the appropriate link to suggest any changes such as linking to parents or spouse.

If you want to send a bio, please use proper capitalization and punctuation; click on the link for "Suggest a correction...". This will open an online email form which will include the necessary links to the memorial. This way I can be sure I have the correct memorial.

Thanks for your help!

Thomas Henry Woodard
In the Vaughan Cemetery in Hill County, Texas I noted that you have a memorial for Thomas Henry Woodard with the birth year as 1943. Your memorial appears to be a duplicate of a previous one with a different birth year. There is a death certificate in Family Search for this person showing their birth date as September 7, 1847 in Georgia and their death date as May 21, 1918 ( I believe it was Hill County.)

RE: dickerson/merritt
Clarence. There are two memorials for Emma Price Merritt Worrell. One (#16670018)was created on 11/16/2006, but it has her birth date as 1833 instead of 1883. Then, six years later, you created another memorial for her (#89990962)with her birth date as 1887 and death date of 1969. You should contact the person who created the first memorial and get the dates correct and then delete your memorial. Then Andrew Jackson Merritt and Letitia Dickerson can be added as her parents. I show her dates being 6/8/1883-2/26/1972. Is that correct?
