RE: Jael Hathaway <- Betsey Hathaway
Hi Glenn,

I believe you may have Betsey Hathaway (d/o Jael and Elizabeth)
linked to the incorrect Jael Hathaway:

Betsey was a daughter of Jael's 2nd wife Elizabeth (m. 1785):
Jael Hathaway

Jael Hathaway
m. 2nd Elizabeth Presbry, widow of Ephraim French. Dec., 1785 (she died May 1, 1816)
d. Jan 10, 1811"
(Children of 2nd marriage, based on gap in birth years)
Rebecca, b. 1786
Lloyd, b. March 14, 1788
Russel, b. Sept. 12, 1790
Betsy, b. 1792

Would you agree?

RE: Rebecca Robinson
We don't get to Mount Peace often any more and we planned a trip to clear some of the photo request backlog. It wasn't hard to find once I was able to come up with the section letter and grave number from public records. Lack of the address probably kept people from looking. It is a really big place with 22 main sections and several sub-sections. Information at the cemetery isn't free and that also keeps people away.

I found another Robinson stone not that far from Rebecca & Franklin. The stone says only "R. Robinson". It was deeded to Richard Robinson in 1918. Do you have any idea how he fits into the greater Robinson family? I would like to post it but it would be good to know, for sure, who is in there maybe in addition to Richard Robinson. Thanks for any info. - JohnF

Thank you for the photos. Elizabeth H. Brayton was the last surviving family member to occupy the mansion that is now the Fall River Historical Society. Upon her death 09.08.1935 the house passed to her nephew. In turn he gave it to the FRHS.

Thank you for the photo of John Teale's grave marker in Oak Grove Cemetery. Did you notice if there were markers nearby for Charles Fish d.1879, John Fish d.1874, or Peter Grimshaw d.1881? According to cemetery records they were all buried in the same plot. Thank you,
