Danny Grizzle
William Lindsey GRid #24582442
I have an extensive biography of William Lindsey that I would like to add to his memorial. In fact, his descendants published a major genealogy book on his line in 1963. This is my GGG Grandfather.

The book also contains stories of the two young sons buried to either side of William at Port Sullivan. I will be adding listings for them as soon as I transcribe from the Lindsey book.

Can you give me access to the William Lindsey memorial?

Leech photos added
I added photos today for Amanda, Harry, Elizabeth and Jacob Leech, as well as a group photo for Amanda, Elizabeth and Jacob. If you want full copies sent via email, let me know.

I marked them all as being from Whitehall, just as Henry and Mathilda Leech. If any of this is wrong, feel free to correct.

more Leeches in Whitehall
I don't know if you got my email last week, but there are other Leeches in the same lot at the Zion Cemetery in Whitehall (PA), including a son to Henry and Mathilda. Do you want those photos (posted)? Glad I could help.

Wiregrass Irisheyes
Robert John STEELE in Ramah Cemetery
Greetings Leslie,

I am not related to Robert John Steele, so far as I know, and have no further information on him. However, I am related to his wife Laura M. Sweat. I am 'blood kin' to the Sweat's and Laura is a distant cousin.

Happy Researching! :o)

Murphys buried at Cottonwood
There are two who share a headstone, appear that they are likely husband and wife- William Boone Murphy and Annie Mae Murphy. This William was born in 1882. There is also an Elmer Murphy that was bron in 1891. Let me know if you need pics of these headstones. Glad to help.

Stephenson Photo
I saw you have a photo request for Spring Hill Cemetery in Cartersburg, Indiana. I was out there this past February and never uploaded any of my photos. It was extremely cold, but a sunshine beautiful day. I was just trying to get out after being couped up for several days. Enough about that. Anyway, I reviewed all my photos hoping I had taken the one you requested. I did not. However, I did photograph Mary Stephenson's gravestone. Since I saw your note about other Stephensons, I uploaded that photo.

It's impossible to find stones there. I've tried to answer specific requests and have never had any luck. However, if I have a free day soon and the weather is nice, I'll take a look. There are also other volunteers in the area. Hopefully, one of us will find it for you.

Jack P. Hailman
photo of Wm. Lindsey marker
I'm on the road and writing from a motel, but when I get home and download my photos, I'll email the Lindsey markers to you. The other is presumably that of his wife. The markers are obviously much newer than the graves. Photographed them earlier today (Sat 19 Apr 08). Cheers, Jack.

I do not know that I am related to this Robertson, but if this man was any relation to some of the Robertson's in Lawrence County, Arkansas - then I'd have to learn how. My gggrandmother had a 2nd marriage to a Thomas Jefferson Robertson in Lawrence County, Arkansas in 1875. I am descended from her first husband who had died prior to 1875.

Hi, Leslie,

I hope I will be able to help a little in your genealogy search. Please write me at my personal e-mail address found in my profile on FIND A GRAVE.
That way I will be able to share more with you.
I did a little digging last night and think I can help you at least with the Census records you are looking for.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Woodson Harris
Hi Leslie -
You left me a message regarding Woodson Harris -

"Hi there,
How are you related to Woodson Harris? My husband comes off of William Harris 1724-1792 which is where Woodson comes off of. My tree is on if you'd want to see it. Leslie Anne Harris Family Tree."

To my knowledge, he is not related to me -

Len (the Little Elm cemetery caretaker) and I have worked together to add all those interned in the Little Elm Cemetery to the Find A
Grave website -- It's been a labor love - We have strived to be accurate without duplicates - We have added bio's when requested to do so -
If you wish to take ownership of this memorial, I'll be happy to request the transfer or you may enter your own memorial and I'll delete mine - Just let me know
The cemetery is one of several within 10 miles of my home -

RE: Elizabeth Lindsey

I will get over there and get your photos you request please keep in mind that allot of head stones are badly damaged or destroyed due to materials there made of and the conditions here in Florida.

Presley Scurlock -- Photo Request
If he is in East Texas, why don't you correct his memorial page.
Then someone near his grave will be looking for a picture for you.

Presley Scurlock does not seem to be buried at the Houston National Cemetery.

Do you know what cemetery Presley Scurlock may be buried in?

Presley Scurlock -- Photo Request
I was unable to find a location for this gravesite on the DOD's gravesite locator website. Do you have more information about the location of his plot at the Houston National Cemetery?

Thank you,
