Allen Odle
Hi Kathy,

I sent a message a couple of days ago and while looking through some old messages I saw where you said that your husband's father was Allen Odle. That means I would be your sister-in-law. What is your husband's name and how old is he? I am truly excited as I have heard my father had plenty of other children but have had a really hard time finding any of them. Right now I know of 8 children and possibly another one, who would probably be the oldest of all his kids...maybe. I a the youngest that we know of. Anyway, the 8 are June and Clarence (we call him Skip). They are both full siblings. Then there is Fran and Elizabeth. They are full siblings also. Then there are myself and three older brothers. Allen III, Edgar, Lynn and myself. I am finding things about some other women he was married to. Violet, Lynne and possibly Penny. My mother was his 8th and last wife. I really can't wait to hear from you and will probably send an email too.

Hi Kathy,

I was wondering how you knew my father, Allen Odle. I just found this site and love the pictures as I don't have many of him.

RE: Lewis Rice

As I told you, Lewis' first wife was my cousin, Norma Gayle Jenkins and they divorced.

I hadn't given much thought to his ancestry, I knew of the Rices, of course, but was surprised to find I also knew his grandparents: Noah Wesley Peter Martin (1879 - 1961)and Edna Mae Wood Martin (1879 - 1958). They lived across the Holler north from us. There isn't any longer a path through there.

Hi,I have no problem with you adding any photos that you wish to Ida Bushart's memorial or any other memorial that I have created. In fact, I have transferred Ida's memorial to you so that you can have complete control over it.

BTW, it is my understanding that it is not necessary to ask permission to add one or more photos to Find A Grave memorials. The only time that permission is required regarding photos is when you would like to copy one or more photos that someone else has added.

Best regards,

RE: #84526877-Ida Bushart
You have my permission to use any photo I post for your family trees. Thanks for asking, and the credit doesn't concern me. It's enough to know that someone appreciates it. I take them for the families benefit. I'm just glad I can help others as others have helped me.
Have a great day.

RE: Allen Odle

That's so interesting. You should leave a message for Ruth asking if she would be willing to transfer Allen's Find A Grave memorial to you so you could add some of the interesting inforamtion you know about him. She might also be willing to add it for you.

Just a thought!

Thank you for visiting my nephews on their Angel Day. Losing a child is a tragedy, but losing two at once is unthinkable. My family appreciates your thoughtfulness on this sad anniversary.

You might write to the Cherokee County, Ks. genealogy society in Columbus and ask for the the obituary of who you think may be the parents, or/and for Jane. I think there is a donation of $5 for each obituary they send to you. I know nothing other then what is on most of the memorials.

Hi Kathy,
I'm don't think I'm in this line. I've been trying to figure out who my gggreat grandfather, Jacob Crandell, is related to. He ended up in Illinois from New York but I can't figure out who his parents are. How far back is the line traced on this tree?

Hi Kathy,
You left flowers on Hannah's memorial 70372948 in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Randolph Co. MO. I am not related, but am trying to update all the memorials there that I took photos for, and am having trouble finding her maiden name and parents. All I could find is their marriage record in KY to go off of. Are these your ancestors and/or can you tell me if I have her correct maiden name? Any help will be appreciated, and if they are yours, I'll be happy to tranfer them to you.
Thanks so much,

RE: Transfer-#21909434

I've transferred Bobby to you, after I updated his memorial from the way it was when I got it.

I just couldn't type all of the obits, I'm a lousy typist. So I took what I had from Big John (#46634520), a relative of yours on the Shaw side, made it into a panoramic image and posted it as a photo.

I don't know if you already have it, but I thought you might like it, as John fixed it from the newspaper.

I couldn't get the print to show any larger. I tried 4 times, it was enormous, but not on F.A.G.
