Wade Hicks
David Hicks, Jr. and family
Thanks for the memorials on the Hicks family of White Hall Cemetery, White Hall, Greene County, Illinois.

My husband is a Hicks and this family has a member who matches their DNA profile. I have been working on his family as he was stopped in the 1850 census of Hickman County, Tennessee.

This member is descended from a son of David's who stayed in Kentucky when his father and uncle Vines Hicks moved to Illinois. In fact, he did't know about Uncle Vines.

This has been a GREAT find for him as his family did not know where David, Jr. and his family were buried. Knew they went to Illinois.

Thanks, again.

Greetings. I was reviewing your photo request. Their office is not friendly to volunteer photographers and they do not give out locations to volunteers (citing privacy reasons). This cemetery is large, with over 8000 burials in 85 acres so an exact location is necessary. Please contact the office at 419-536-8321 to get the location of the grave, (as they know my voice by now). Thanks!

Nathaniel Mead
We all believe Nathaniel Mead is buried in Abbey Cemetery (I've been there)since he lived nearby at the time of his death. Do you have actual evidence of this?

Duplicate FAG Memorial Site
Hi Shelly!

Noticed you created a memorial at San Juan Bautista Cemetery, San Benito County, California, for Gunichi J. Takata, #74671053, date created: August 2011., However, an original memorial already existed for Mr.Gunichi!

The photo is great, but as you know, Find A Grave rules state duplicate memorials should not be added if a memorial already exists. The original Find A Grave memorial site created by Katy C is dated iAugust 2008 (#29220758).

Please help keep San Juan Bautista Cemetery Find A Grave site records free of duplicates by removing the duplicate memorial for Gunichi J. Takata, you had created in August 2011, since his original memorial had been created back in 2008.

Thanks so much for your help in correcting this oversight and thanks too for all the work you have done documenting San Juan Bautista Cemetery!!!

Best Wishes Always,
Sharon, #47770935

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Photo Request
I just reported a problem with your photo request. You can ignore it. I found out I was at the wrong Cemetery. There is no map for the one this grave is in and there are several Derryberry Cemeteries around. Sorry.

You're welcome. I spend way too much time on the computer so I normally get the message right away or within a few hours at least.. lol
I don't know of any way to pinpoint the exact location. I checked and there are no other Waldrops or Baileys listed for that cemetery that have tombstones. If they were I would say we could make an educated guess that he was buried nearby. You might try calling one of the local funeral homes like Pafford Funeral Home. Their phone number is 731-968-2544. They won't have records from that time frame, but they might know who takes care of the cemetery now. They might have some kind of records. Its a long shot though.

hi shelly
I'm the (step) Great Granddaughter to John H Nichol. My Great Grandmother was Eliza (Dolly) Ridley-Willis-Nichol. She and John were married May 29, 1937. shortly after Lillian died. Gr'Grandpa John was the only Great Grandpa that i can remember. He was big guy that use to swing me up in his arms and bear hug me. I have been trying to do my Grandma Hazel's (John's step daughter) family genealogy. and John was apart of my family. So i did the Nichol Family too. it has been very interesting to work thru all the links. janey

I didn't see him, but next time I go over I can look again. I photographed who I saw that was close but you never know what I'll find. I am related to Mercurio's but not Di Mercurio's, I wonder if they are related. Denise

Excell Bonnot
Hi,

I wrote you an e-mail as well, and attached the photo to the e-mail.

I could not find Excell Bonnot buried at Green Hills, but I did find a gravesite for Edna Bonnot. I didn't know if this was the correct person and did not want to post it to Find A Grave until I was certain. The date of death on Edna's stone matches the one listed for Excell on Find A Grave, but the year of birth is different.

I didn't see Jean E. Bonnot. There was space for a grave beside Edna, but there was not any stone. He could be buried there and it is currently unmarked.

If this is the person that you requested, you can let me know and I will upload it to Find A Grave, or you may do it yourself if you want to. Either way is fine with me.
