You are very welcome Gloria. I wish they would mow the cemetery better, doesn't look like they weed eat around the monuments, I tried to pull the weeds to get better pics, but it was a monumental task as I shot about 100 stones that day.

Hello Gloria,

I'd be happy to know that the photo was useful to you - please use it. At one time, my Mom had asked for photos from that cemetery as she was doing some family history work; I have nearly all of the stones if you have a need.

You are very welcome...glad to be of help! However, I was unable to find a headstone for Patrick Burr for some reason. The cemetery records had him in the same place as Mary & Thomas but nothing was there.

Yr picture request
You have my permission to use the tombstone images from the Elijah and Sarah Gove memorials in your video. It's possible I have higher resolution versions which I could find if you need them.

Hi Gloria,

I typically shoot my photos in the highest possible resolution my Nikon D90 will allow. You have the dates correct as viewed on the monument. Wondering when you viewed the photo posted if you clicked on the photo, which will allow a closer enlarged image? Just a thought that might be helpful.

RE: Henry & Sibila Duenkel
Dear Gloria,

They are 2 separate cemeteries.
I went to both cemeteries on google.com maps/satelite view to verify them. I can tell you that you are correct. They are in fact all buried at Wauwatosa Cemetery at 2405 Wauwatosa Ave. I will change the information on the memorial page. Thank you so much for catching my error. According to interment.net, here are the locations of their burial sites. I can try to post a map of the cemetery with their graves circled on them...I will see what I can do.

Dunkel, Henry C. F., b. 09/12/1841, d. 5/22/1906, bur. 105-No. Sub, #20
Dunkel, John Henry, b. 06/11/1867, d. 5/24/1917, bur. 105-No. Sub, #752

RE: Henry & Sibila Duenkel
Hi Gloria!
I edited the cemetery with it's mailing address and phone number. Pinelawn is in Wauwatosa. (This is for Henry CF Duenkel)When I tried to edit the cemetery, Pinelawn came up as being Milwaukee, even though it is actually Wauwatosa. That's why I added the phone number. I was there & I know exactally where they are buried. When you pull into the drive way, Charles & Barbara are on the right side of the road, and if you go up a tad farther, that's where Henry and Sibila are on the left side of the road. It's kind of neat how close they are in the cemetery. :)

If you want me to do anything else to his memorial, just let me know. I don't check my e-mail often, so bear with me. Thanks!

Hi Gloria-I took another pic of the Lower Grave, hope you find it better than the first, although I did get it a little "tilted".

I found the marker. It is in section 37 at Union. I will try to get a better picture later in the spring, but I posted this one so you can see that there is a marker.

RE: Henry & Sibila Duenkel
If you would like I can link Sibila's memorial to her parents memorials that you have.

I have much more information about them than what is posted on find a grave. I have old pictures too. They had 3 children, 2 boys and a girl Anna.

Thank you

Sincerely, Deb Duenkel

You are welcome, Gloria! I liked that train, too, it was a sweet and personal addition, I wanted to be sure it showed in some part of the photo. If there is anything else I can help with here, let me know. -Amy

RE: John Ludwig
Dates on Mary's stone, which is posted, are 1877-1953. Original poster also has added links to her mother and three of her children which I provided to him. If you haven't noticed the link in the left column that says "Find all Ludwigs in West Bend Cemetery," when you are on a Ludwig page, that's the easiest way to review what's there. You also can search on last name only on that cemetery's home page.

RE: John Ludwig
There are 21 Ludwigs listed in this cemetery--most of them posted by the same person who didn't link them when posting. I have been sending him the links as I find them and he usually responds in a few days. I'm finding lots of relationships among them. There are two Marys--one is buried next to John with the same style of tombstone, labeled Mother (his says Father).

You're welcome. I'm working on shooting this entire cemetery--got about half of it done last fall before cold weather set in. Hope to finish it next spring. I'm slowly getting everything posted during the winter--if you have additional requests in this cemetery I will get to them eventually.

Hubert Gordon Collett
Saw that you are managing the memorial for Hubert Gordon Collett. Were you related to him? Just curious, as in my Cross family tree I have found connections to both the Collett and Cain families buried there.

Another thing you may or may not be interested in, I recently purchased an original copy of the William Cross book written by John Newton Cross and published 1933. Inside the cover it is signed by a Gordon Collett. I am thinking it highly likely that may the one buried here. Your thoughts on that?

RE: Hoelting
Sounds great! You might get a few more edit suggestions from me since I'm going through the entire cemetery. I have a copy of the cemetery records published in 2002, and I'm going through page by page. Now I'm about halfway through.

I'm going to be in the Texas panhandle over Christmas and I'll try to swing by the cemetery, but I don't know for certain that I'll have time. If another volunteer gets those pictures taken, then it will be all for the better.

RE: Willis Finnell
81507583 is the memorial number where I posted the pictures of the child Willis Finnell. The headstone next to it was a double headstone of his parents.
Office is closed today to check for other Willis Finnell, but one I posted is one you are looking for.

RE: Willis Finnell
Hi Gloria
Right now I am headed out to richmond cemetery again after seeing that there are two Willis Finnell on find a grave. The one I did find which was very worn and hard to read was in the section that it states and next to a double head stone of Celia and spouse. Please compare the dates of the two Willis finnell and see how they couldossibly be the same. The numbers could have been hard to read on where they were taken from? Let me know what you think. Was your Finnell a youngster when died? This is why I am returning to cemetery to see if I can find just one or two small numbers that match these dates. They are very worn. Will let you know later if I am successful.
It may be that I found the Willis Finnell for the other listing.
