RE: Re: Wrong parents
Have you had any luck finding any solid proof that Henry is John Henry Walden's son? Putnam County courthouse & library couldn't find anything for me. I did find a book published where Henry was listed as an early settler of Putnam County but nothing to connect the two. Appreciate any help.

Elizabeth Dale Walden is my 3rd great grandmother as well. I have been told from other researchers of the Walden family that they are her parents. If they are not; who do you have as her parents?

Thank you for your kind words. Even so, it's always a bit disappointing not to be able to fulfill a photo request. I am glad the information was helpful

I spoke with the Humboldt Township and Humboldt Cemetery Sexton today and he stated that there are no records that show Joshua or Elizabeth Whitehead burials in either cemetery. He also said that if they are buried with their daughter, there is no record and no headstones, and that it would be possible they are there, but no one knows now.

What he did say is that there is a J. Stevens buried on the same lot and also Bill Glaza and Terry Glaze.

I hope this was helpful.

We have spoken with the Trustee of 30 Years of the Humboldt Township Cemetery and the current Sexton of both the Humboldt Cemetery and the Humboldt Township Cemetery. The Trustee's book did not shown any Whitehead's, but they said the book has mostly listed the lot owners and not the individuals buried there. I gave him their information and he is going to look thru everything he has and get back with me in about a week. I will let you know if anything comes out of it for you. I will upload another picture of Elizabeth and her husband buried side by side on Elizabeth's memorial for you. We search a pretty large radius around her, but found nothing. Will be in touch.

Please do a photo request and maybe someday we will go back and attempt it for you.

RE: Squire Dale Cemetery
Hi Victoria,

No, my husband is the Dale descendant, on his mother's side. Squire Dale is his 4th great grandfather; and Matthew Dale is his 3rd great grandfather.

If my health was better, I would love to roam through old cemeteries.

Happy Hunting!
Evan

Matthew Dale birthdate
Hi Victoria,

Thanks for putting the Dales in FindAGrave.

I have "4 May 1820" for Matthew's bd. I was just wondering if the gravestone actually says 1826?

Evan
