RE: Amy Barber
Hi Traci,
Good to hear from you. There are so many Barber's and about 6 ways to spell it that they just seem to bleed from one to another.
There are about 3 Barber home grave sites that I'm trying to get permission from now. Amy may be in one of those. There is also a primitive Bapt. Church that has some Barbers, So I could run across it about anytime. keep a check back.
I'm not on the healthiest note right now and winter kept me in quite a bit, but as soon as the temperatures rise I'm going to try and get out again.

RE: Rehobeth Primitive Baptist Church
Hi Traci,
I'm afraid that my last computer got hit by lighting. I still have all the information on my
hard drive of my new computer, I just can't see them.
I've been in the process of a move and haven't had much time to get it taken care of. As soon as I do I'll be happy to send them to you.

RE: Barbours of Johnston County
Thanks so much Traci for the kind words.
I started this about 45 years ago and once
in a while I get away from it. I always come
I started in Durham Cnty after watching several
small graves being moved. I felt that it was
wrong, and that they should be documented..
So That's one of the reasons I got started.

Again Thanks

Thank you for attempting to get the photo. He was a politician and that is probably why. Did you happen to confirm that he is buried there? I would think so since they denied you. Find A Grave has a duplicate of this memorial and they will not take theirs down although it is in the wrong cemetery according to his obituary.

Hi Traci:
Like your pic with your dog. How cute. No I'm not related to Alice Barham. My Reed family I've tracked back to VA. But you never know. Sometimes lines disappear and you never know where they end up.

Traci -

I didn't create Fred's memorial, so feel free to create his wife's. It is a local cemetery for you :).

Thank you.

His wife was Marjorie (Madge) K. Jones, born in Little Bay Island, Newfoundland and died in Fort Lauderdale if you would like to create a memorial for her with your pic.

RE: C Long
Hi Traci,

No, I didn't really know him. He owned several memorials that I had been trying to get him to make updates and links to. Now I know why he hadn't responded in a long time. So sorry for the loss of your friend.

I had a notice from F.A.G. that you had sponsored
the memorial. Thank you, very much. If you
wish, I would be most happy to transfer ownership
of the memorial to you. Just send me a request
with your F.A.G. number.

RE: Leslie Nielsen
Hi Traci!

Actually, I did not list the location of Leslie Nielsen's grave. I don't know who supplied it. I think if you have grave info on him you should forward it to Find A Grave via the following email: Make sure and give your information so you can get proper credit and include the URL of his page too. Good luck :)

Sorry Traci, I can't help you with your request. I've never been to the cemetery and I've only ever been one time to Kentucky. There is a person on this website (F-A-G) that I think lives in Wolfe County and is very involved with the cemeteries and genealogical data there. His name is Kendll Culbertson. If you do a search on the surname Culbertson in Wolfe Co., KY, you'll find him since he entered most of his family lineage there, and you'll be able to leave a message for him. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. More than likely, Kendel has been to Alan's grave and if it has a stone, he has a photo of it.

Added by Rich Kreiss on Apr 04, 2010 1:32 PM

I'll run up there in the morning and get some shots for you. If you would send me your email at and I'll send them privately.
I will post your great grandparents to the board for transfer. This may take a while due to them being busy. I had to wait about 6 months for some and yet just a couple of days for others.

Rehobeth Primitive Bapt. Church
Hi Traci,
By transferring both your ggrandmother and ggrandfather to you would mean you have ownership of the memorial. You could post a bio, post and change pictures.
Rehobeth Church is still going strong. Like most primitive Bapt. Churches, it has church on the 1st and 3rd Sunday. They have kept up the church well and the cemetery gets mowed at least 3 times a month during the summer, so both church and grounds are well maintained. If you would like a picture of the church, I would be more than happy to get one for you. I live less than 5 miles from there. I also need to go back and see if they have placed the stone down for another burial there.
