I sent you looking for a photo of Charles Elmore's headstone. I did not know he did not have a marker. Sorry for the trouble.

|Carolyn Sebastian||Margaret Hehner|
Thanks so much for posting info for Margaret Hehner, in spite of my "senior moment" yesterday!!
I am still trying to find when her husband passed away and where he is buried. According to census records, he passed away between 1900 and 1910. May be back with more info, if I can find him!!!
Thanks again for all of your help!!!

I would appreciate that very much! My ggf who I believe to be her brother was from Riedseltz, Alsace. His memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 53188122. Can we take this conversation private using my F-A-G id at gmail.com?

Thank you so much for the corrections! Some of those grave stones are in such bad condition I wish I could read them better and it is so nice to have someone come along with more information! Good luck with your family searching. How did you go about getting cemetery records? I've always wondered about that.

I niticed that you have claimed the photo request for John and Sophia. I don't know where there located in the cemetery. I also noticed that there are 2 St. John cemeteries in Granite City, and I'm guessing that there in this one because it is older, but I'm not sure. Sorry I couldn;t be of anymore help.

Thank you for telling me about the other Baumbergers. I'm not certain who they are. Did you want to put a photo on Charles' memorial you set up? Just thought I'd mention it while you still have the photos. Thank you again.

Thank you very much for the excellent photos you took of Elmer and Lois Baumberger, Emma and Rufus Beals at St. Johns Cemetery. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time and effort to do these for me.

Thank you for trying to get a photo of the stone for Gladys Lewandowski. I did not realize she did not have a marker or of course I wouldn't have done a photo request. I called the cemetery office to get her plot location. It seems kind of strange they didn't mention she didn't have a marker, but I will ask from now on. Sorry, and thanks again.

Hello, just a note to say I've not updated the request you made. I'm going to take new photos of their markers first, then I'll update them with the info you shared.

If I contributed to any confusion about who was taking the photo, I apologize.
CSR, thank you for all the help you provide to others looking for a little piece of their past, and that includes me.

|bluebell||Thank you so much|
CSR--I may be reading my cemetery map in the wrong orientation for Ella Clements. I hope not. What I mean to say is, the diagram shows she is five stones to the left of Dale J. Doty. But maybe it is five rows directly below (or above?) Dale J. Doty.
I just don't want to send you on a wild goose chase in this extreme heat. The names are written as though she's 5 stones to his left.
Thank you for helping me.
