Nancy Elizabeth Howell Brown
Thank you for linking her to her parents. I was given family sheets for the Howell, Poole, Barbee, and Johnson's. The family sheets have her living from 1842-1932.

According to the 1880 Census they have children listed as :
William b 1862
Ann b 1865
Elizabeth b 1866
Virginia b 1869
McKever b 1871
John and Robert twins b 1873
Dolphus b 1876
The notes also reflect that there were two more children to this union of Andrew Jackson Brown and Nancy Howell: a Charlie, and a Dolly (who married a Henry Brown, no relation)

Hope this information helps someone. Thanks, Tess

Thanks Angie. Just so you know Lowell Jr. passed away on the 17th and was buried in Italy.

Diana Lynn Brannon

You have her parents listed as Lowell and Mabel Brannon when in fact her parents are Robert Dee and Judy Cowan Brannon whom are both still alive. The tragic story of her death is that she was hit by a car on Halloween night. If you could update her page it would be great.

Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Joel Pinkney Williams Jr
Angie, are you directly related to Joel Pinkney Williams Jr 1921-1994 Milford Cemetery: Find A Grave Memorial# 26576656? I am looking for information on his father, Joel Pinkney Williams Sr born 1895 in Sevier Tennessee and thought to have died in Dallas County, Texas May 20, 1975. I have linked all 11 of 13 children of William Williams Jr and Elizabeth Adeline Kelly Williams...1 sibling is living...Joel is the last to link at this time. Can you help me? Thanks in advance Nina

Hester Ross
Hester Ross listed in the Milford Cemetery is a male not a female. I attached sources to Hester Rosses page on Family Tree on Family Search. His ID # on Family Tree is LHHC-L42. His mother was Ida Frances Cagle. She married Benjamin Franklin Ross in 1903. Ida Frances Cagle's ID # on Family Tree is LWFD-SVX. I assume she married a Wilson sometimes after her husband's death but I haven't located a marriage record.

Milford Cemetery
We received the Milford Cemetery newsletter today and there was a nice piece complimenting you on your outstanding work in Milford. We have several family members buried there and don't get down there as much as we should to leave flowers. The letter serves as a good reminder that additional funds are needed this year to cover the upkeep of this wonderful old cemetery. Your hard work to preserve and document burials there does not go unnoticed. Thanks, Angie.

RE: John Howell
Hello Angie...
I'm not aware of anyone in the Howell plot; my information as far as John Preston Howell's tombstone is concerned is as follows:
"Photograph of tombstone of John Preston Howell, Section 1B, Milford Cemetery, Milford, Ellis County, Texas, made by Carol Behringer February 15, 2002. Tombstone shows "Sgt John P Howell, Co. D. 13 Ala. Inf., C.S.A., Aug. 17, 1838, Jan. 3, 1903." He is interred in the Andrew Jackson Brown family plot. Andrew Jackson Brown is John Preston's brother-in-law, husband of Nancy Elizabeth Howell Brown. We have never learned where Virginia Olivia Pearce Howell died, although it is assumed in Young County, Texas. No tombstone has ever been located."

Was informed of John Preston's tombstone by another distant relative who had done most of the research on the Howell family, and nothing was mentioned about a family plot there in Milford. Would love to know myself. I know John Preston's 2nd wife is interred in Files Valley Cemetery in Hill County.

Thanks. Once you complete your numbering systerm, please keep me in mind. I have photos and other data I'll eventually get around to inserting. Thelma was actually called Jackie by some family member. My dad was especially fond of her husband, Coke.

Angie, I added plot numbers to Gladys McKenna and James Johnson. They are my relatives. Also added one for Tasco Fudge, linked his mother and father based on death cert. I thought I had transferred non-relatives to you some time back, but must have missed him. I will transfer him now.
