RE: Lucy Freer

LOl, I was thinking I had just put her up. Those old stones are a challenge to read.

Lake Family
Hi :)

I am looking for family related to John Lake (F.A.G. number 29771018). John was born in Poughkeepsie, NY in 1834. I am trying to locate the names of his parents and siblings.

Thank you for any help you can lend,
Linda Lake

Rocia Lake
Hello! I have Lake ancestors that migrated from New York to Wisconsin in the 1850's. Benjamin Lake and Maria Dunn were married in New York in 1852 and migrated to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Just looking for the parent's of Benjamin Lake. Any ideas? I think a Polly Lake is Benjamin's mother. Relation?

THANK YOU! I really appreciate all the transfers. These graves have just broken down a huge brick wall I had on my tree and I am really excited. They include my 3rd G-Grandparents as well as 3rd G-Aunts and Uncles and of course cousins many times removed! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Leavens Cemetery - Lake Luzerne, NY
Hello, I have added photos to some of your memorials in this cemetery. I am still working on adding more photos, but wanted to let you know I have sent some edit requests linking family members. This cemetery is getting in rough shape, thanks for already having the memorials, it helps confirm what I can read on the stones! :) Stephanie

Lakeview Cemetery, Nashville
I believe you created listings for my Great Grandparents, Homer S. and Leona Ayers at Lakeview Cemetery in Nashville Village. When I visited the cemetery this week, the headstones for my Great Grandparents are missing. I remember them from when I was a child but that has been a bery long time. Would you have taken pictures if they had been there when you posted them? I have info that they were there in 2005. I am the oldest surviving offspring and I would like to get something placed at their gravesites to honor them.

Possible change needed

I noticed on the marriage of Col. Abel Shorey & Mercy (Mary) Read that there are two children (Olive & Lucy) born after Mercy's date of death.

If you would kindly let me know what changes you might feel are needed, I would appreciated your letting me know. Thank you.

Abel is something like a 15th cousin to me, whom I just traced down today thought your fine work.

Respectfully yours,

Jay Gaudette

Velvideer Starkweather
Thank you so much for the transfer! I would be interested in any of the other Starkweathers in your care which you might care to transfer. My father and I were in Herkimer County in 2011 and took the photo that serves as my profile picture on Find A Grave. I am standing by my ancestor's headstone, Nathan Starkweather, from the Old Cemetery at Warren.
Thanks a million!
