|kurt berndt||Emma I Glasshagel|
I came across your entry for Emma I Glasshagel where you have added her maiden name. I am searching for an ancestor with a similar name and wonder what evidence you have for the maiden name. There are some discrepancies, and if cleared up this would really solve some problems for me. Can you contact me? While I am from Melrose Park, I live in Sweden now. I really look forward to hearing from you.

|Jerry Stremcha||RE: Memorials|
For the sake of the persons not aware:
When you click on a member's name and look under "Contributions to Find A Grave" Ruth you have at the moment "10,417 Memorials Added" and "10,276 Memorials Managed" and myself have "1,461 Memorials Managed" and "1,915 Memorials Managed". Since neither your "10,417 Memorials Added" or "10,276 Memorials Managed" is highlighted nobody can click on them and see which memorials you added or manage, however my "1,461 Memorials Added" and "1,915 Memorials Managed", it is highlighted and everybody in the world can see which memorials I added or managed. Hopefully, I expressed myself clearly now and you might be able to answer my original question.
Added by Jerry Stremcha on Oct 17, 2014 8:17 AM
I see that your memorials that you added or managed are not accessible. I am thinking that I should do the same. Did you make a special request to Find A Grave?

|Claire DeBauche||Pvt James C Atkins|
I came across your photo of the grave of Pvt James C Atkins (Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviess County, Illinois, USA) and was wondering if you came across his wife Martha C. (Oman), or her parents Ann and Henry Oman. Ann died in Hanover in 1866, I do not know when Martha and Henry died. Thanx Claire

|Wayne Nerger||RE: Henry Vallette|
Your welcome,I have been working on the Vallette and updating on my family tree, and with each member I am checking here to see if there is a memorial and if not creating one., and making sure is member is linked to our common ancestor. Plus it keeps me busy since i am disabled and came no longer work. And the rearch is fun and interesting.

Thanks for responding. Do you happen to know their phone number? I don't see one on the findagrave page. Is this a very large cemetery? Do they have a management office?

|Kenneth Brudzinski||RE: Images on Memorials|
Thanks for the quick reply. I just checked the memorial again, and all looks great. Sorry to bother you with this, but this type of action could not be your fault. Either the photo is up on "their" server or it was deleted. I just didn't think it through... Thanks for all of your help!
Have a Happy New Year!!

|Ace||RE: Adding photo's|
Per your request, from the Find A Grave "Help" file:
Any contributor can upload an appropriate photo to any memorial regardless of who manages the page. No permission from the memorial manager is needed. Please note that it is not appropriate to delete a page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created just because you don't like a photo that someone else has added. If the photo is an appropriate addition to the page, it should be allowed to remain.
You are very welcome for all of the additional images.
