Memorial# 20436418
On this memorial you show marriage date as Oct 20, 1880. Butm on wife's memorial you show Oct 24, 1880. Do you know which is correct. Do you know where they were married.

Spur TX
My grandfather was Marvin Alexander, his wife was Mennie Mae Kearney Smith Alexander. His brother Cecil lived in town. Mennie's brother Charlie Kearney lived in town also. Grandpa Marvin was my favorite person in the world. That's why I loved Spur so much.

Spur, TX
Spur was one of my favorite places to visit. My grandfather had a cotton farm outside of town. I loved going there to see him when I was a child. You are right, there wasn't a lot there, but it ranks at the very top of my wonderful memories list.

Gregory's in Spur Cemetery
Would you be related to the Gregory's that you have created memorials for in the Spur Cemetery? My husband is related through a brother of the ancestor of these Gregory's.

Max Yeakley
Yes, I did find Max but still do not know who he belongs to. Do you? I have several Yeakley's that I can not place and at this point, think they belong to George's brother Jacob. One of his decendents even went to Buchanan Co., Missouri where all of mine were at one point. I was so surprised. Anyway, if you ever find him listed with parents, I would appreciate knowing about him.

Max Yeakley
Ricky, You have helped me so very much but I am going to ask you if you every heard of a Max Yeakley. Born 1930 d. 1991. I have identified every single Yeakley on Find A Grave but him. I have no clue. He is buried in a Military Cemetery but of course, they would not tell me who is listed as next of kin. Would you keep an eye out for any informtaion you run across about him. He is listed on the Social Security List too.

Thanks very much.

William Charley Webb
Rickey, I saw that you added this memorial. It says William is in the Lone Star Cemetery. I requested a photo and the headstone could not be found. Are you a relative or do you know if a headstone was ever placed. With him being in the service I find it odd there is not the standerd military marker.
