I'll delete mine after you say "go." I wish some of the info could be copied, but just let me know.
Misspellings are so vexing = by Washington Dig. Archives, and even on headstones!

In many cases, we will never know what the actual spelling is. Many changed their names so that contributes to the problem.

Again, thanks, and just let me know when to delete. I've no problem doing that.

Mauryce L Currey
She was my great aunt, so if I happen to have a picture of her in my parents things I will upload it to the site. She also had some type of family connection to my GrandFather Joseph Currey who is buried at East Lawn on Folsom, Blvd in Sacramento, CA.

There is also a family connection of Emma Page who is probably buried in the same cemetary as Mauryce. Here is some info on Emma Page: http://www.thurstontalk.com/2015/01/05/emma-page-olympia-history/

RE: Photo requests
Your are very welcome on the pictures. I believe i was able to convince find a grave that in changing the terms on posting pictures from other websites that it was a very beneficial enhancement to all who post on find a grave , As long as the picture has a link to it's original owner and they are credited it is not considered copyright infringement. If I were to write a book and use the pictures and then publish the book for sale then I would have to get special permission . It will add a lot to find a grave and linking to our local history museums and genwebs will save a lot of time and make for a pleasurable experience on find a grave.

Are you related to David Schrock in Oregon. He was married to Kerrie Schrock and they lived in Clackamas Oregon until Kerrie's early death.

Kerrie was my step-daughter.

Hello Elaine and Bill.
You have probably seen a lot of pictures added by me on your Maintained grave sites. I have contacted Find a grave on letting me post through our local Washington state History Museum. Their archives hold a lot of pictures of local pioneers that have places in a lot of unpictured grave sites. I have asked them if I could provide the link to the history Museum as to where the picture is located. The great thing about this is the viewer can order prints from the museum. The pictures at the museum hold a lot of tidbits that normally would not have been known about the person . It make a great partnership for all because the links provide a positive connection to the graved person that otherwise would be unknown to the viewer.I am in hopes that find a grave accepts the links on their website and allows me to connect. If not I will have to remove the pictures. Wish me luck. Thanks.

Richard E "Dicky" Burns #82726203

I have added Richard's 1957 yearbook High School Senior photo to his memorial. Thanks again for his transfer.

I think his marker is a lovely scenery marker with his information on it. I would like to add it with his photo and info I've added to his memorial to share with his friends and classmates at our 60th reunion, Galena Days, June 2017 at Galena, KS and on my Cherokee County Kansas site. That is the only way the ones without computers will be able to see it.

May I please used a cropped slightly, version of Richard's tombstone photo. I would like to have the bronze marker with less concrete showing at the top. I can easily add whatever credit you'd like under the bronze marker, under the cemetery information.

Mountain View Memorial Park
Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington

Photo taken by: Elaine and Bill Schrock (#46915548)posted on Find A Grave.

I can send it to you and you can see if you approve of it or not. I can also post it long enough for you to see it on Richard's memorial then delete it.

Thank you for ALL the photos you take and share with others on Find A Grave. You and they are appreciated.

RE: Arthur A Hanson in Masonic Memorial Park
Thanks Elaine. There is an interment record for Fort Snelling Cemetery, but none for Masonic Cemetery, so it is just a cenotaph.

The Masonic plot was purchased by the mother (or wife) of Bruce Yeager, a Korean War soldier who was killed in action. One space is for Bruce, and the other two were donated to veterans, who might or might not have known him.

Arthur A Hanson in Masonic Memorial Park
I am researching my Finn ancestors, and I am particularly interested in Arthur A Hanson, whose memorial page you created (70635931).

The memorial says that he was buried in Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater, but when I called the cemetery office for more information, they told me that they have no burial record.

The most puzzling thing is that you posted photos of his gravemarker... so you must have seen it somewhere!

Hello Elaine,

I was curious about the same thing and since the obit was written in 1963, I figured I might have trouble locating the person for their permission. Sadly I found out that the person who wrote it passed away in 1999. I guess that means the copyright is over and done ?
