|Kathleen Hill||RE: Charles Booker Reddick|
Just had to ask if you happened to be related. So glad that you photographed "him". Keep up the good work, it means so much to so many - now and in the future.

Thank you very much for processing my Edit Requests to Link Charles to his parents and 2nd wife. Thanks for your work with this site.
Do you have any connection to the Reddick Family?
I'm on a "mission" to Link 5 generations of this family together on Find A Grave. Love Find A Grave!!
Guess I should leave a Message too for those managers who haven't responded in more than a month. Maybe they didn't receive any Edit Request notice either.

Sparkman HIllcrest (SH) will not provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed to in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request.
You can also go through the SH website at this address: http://www.dignitymemorial.com/en-us/about-us/contact-us.page
Click the third tab that says "Other Requests." Fill in the blanks. Where it says: " What is your request in regard to?" use the drop down menu and select "other." In the message put the name and birth and death dates of the person you are looking for and that they are buried at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, Texas. Once SH has replied, add the information to your photo request.
Thank you for your help.

|Wilkie||Lucy Latane Walker Vaden|
Forwarded the above memorial to Lucy Vaden's daughter, who lives across the street, and she says that her mother, Lucy Walker Vaden, was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Her parents were born in Virginia as was her older sister Katherine. I checked the 1920 and 1930 census and Lucy's birth place was listed as TEXAS.
Would you please make that change for me.
Also, she says that she is going to give me updated information on Lucy Walker Vaden's husband so that you can add birth and death locations and a brief biography that you can copy and paste onto the memorials.
Thanks in advance for making the correction and keep up the good work,

|Robert Thompson||Edits on the Find a Grave system|
On your personal findagrave home page there is an edit tab at the top of the page. If you click that tab you should see where I have entered the plot numbers and you can choose to accept or reject any corrections all at one time which makes it easier. This was new to me a couple of months ago. It might be new or I just didn't see it. Unfortunately you do not get any email notice that corrections are there other than a number showing up next to the edit on the tab. You just have to know to check it every now and then.

I would be happy to fill your photo request, however, can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial locations for your requests: 214-381-7118
There are over 311 photo requests and the volunteers can not ask for that many locations.
Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery does not like to cooperate with findagrave volunteers.

I noticed all of the "Trails to the Past" info on your Contributor Page. I could possibly be interested in the Arkansas project at a later date, but in my foreseeable future, I have more than enough work on Find-A-Grave to keep me occupied. Thanks for mentioning this, though.

|Iris Meshell||RE: Thomas N Vines|
I'm not familiar with any other Vines except for these Find-A-Grave memorials at Craig Cem. and a couple at Knowles Cem. in Union County. No rush on the S.A.C.s I've sent you. I was just trying to get everyone (as much as possible) in Craig Cem. linked to their immediate relatives. I do appreciate your efforts to help me get this done!

|Iris Meshell||RE: Thomas N Vines|
I haven't been able to figure out who Thomas' parents were. In an old census record he was living with his uncle Washington Vines (Thomas was 9 years old). Washington had an older brother named Jackson Vines, who may have been Thomas' father, but I can't be sure.

Hi Charlie, Nu'uuli is the village. I don't even think there is a cemetary in Samoa isnce everyone is usually buried on family land... John, Tolia, Ben, Rev. Tulafono, and Lilia are all buried next to the homes on the Solaita compound. Nu'uuli is just the name of the village. So yes John can be listed as being buried on the Solaita Compound in Nu'uuli with the rest of them....

Hi Charlie, feel free to use what you like or need. I saw obituary section on your website. I'd like to contribute my father in laws... Look under my page under "Hubby's family"... Peni Solaita who was the president of the American Samoa Olympic Committee, and his Uncle Tolia Solaita, the first Samoan to play major league baseball. Both are buried on the Island. There bio and pictures are include.
