RE: Sylvia Alice Tingey
Hi Liesa,

Henry Hans Jensen and Silvia Alice Tingey were my great grandparents. Their daughter Ruby was my grandmother and the younger sister of Claudius. I am in the process of gathering information about them myself, but here is extensive history on both of their families. I am certainly willing to share the information I have if you leave me your contact information.
Thanks for contacting me! It's fun to connect the dots!

William Allen Stockdale --> Paradise Cm
Hello Liesa,

hHre is the obituary for:
William Allen Stockdale 6 Mar 1945-12 Nov 2008

Thought you would like to attach some or all of it to his memorial.

OGDEN –William Allen Stockdale (Bill), 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by many family members, on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah after suffering a stroke and complications of Parkinson's disease.

Bill was born on March 6, 1945 in Logan, Utah to Barbara Grace Jensen and William "R" Stockdale.

Bill graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1963. He served an LDS mission in the Cumorah Mission, Rochester, New York, where he had the privilege of being in the Hill Cumorah Pageant.

Bill married Barbara Elaine Allred on September 11, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have four children.

Bill served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the Air Force Reserves after twenty years of service.

Bill graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Associates degrees in Data Processing and Business Management.

Bill held banking, management and accounting positions with First Security Bank, Bank One, and Flameco Barnes. He was a member of the North Ogden Kiwanis Club for several years and served as president of the local American Institute of Banking.

He was an avid reader, and especially loved studying American history and the Constitution. He was known to enjoy movies and had an ever-expanding coin collection that he was building for his grandchildren.

Above any other role in life, Bill cherished being a grandfather, or "Paca." Every grandbaby knew Paca as the one who talked to them in a Donald Duck voice and taught them animal sounds. As the children grew, Paca always had new toys for them at the house, and he loved to play with the children.

Bill is survived by his wife, Elaine, and his children: Liesa (Rodger) Corbridge, West Haven; Kathryn (Lance) Capener, Hereford, TX; Jeffery (Marie) Stockdale, Harrisville; and Jason Stockdale, Ogden; eight adoring grandchildren who will always miss Paca; three sisters and two brothers: Virginia (Brent, deceased) Teeples, Mesa, AZ; Ann (Paul) Checketts, Kaysville; Robert (Jana) Stockdale, billings, MT; Barbara Sue (Gary) McDonald, Las Vegas, NV; and Paul (Stephanie) Stockdale, Ogden.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law.

The family wishes to thank McKay-Dee Hospital's ICU staff for their skilled care and compassion during his last days.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Lewis Stake Center, 1200 North Monroe. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary of Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake center prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.

Christian and Eliza Otteson
Hi Liesa,
Thanks for responding and for the information you responded with. I called my sister in Utah and found out that Christian and Eliza were my Grandparents "grandparents". My grandparents were Ivy and Arlo Otteson. They are the ones buried in Pendleton. Any information that you have would be greatly appreciated. My direct email is John-Phipps@comcast.net.
As far as the offer to stop by the cemetery in Fountain green, that's okay. Don't go out of your way. It just so happens that my brother and father are buried there, and it's comforting to know that they are located near relatives. I have been to that cemetery a few times.
I simply never thought to look for Otteson's. I really do appreciate any information, including photo's that you send. It would be very interesting to me. Thanks again, and have a great day!
I don't have much to trade, but will get some information from my Mother if you need it. I'll also copy her on the information you send. I know she will be facinated and appreciative.

otteson grave in fountain green
Hi Liesa,
I have been trying to find a bit of information on the otteson name in fountain green utah.
My grandparents (both buried in Pendleton, OR were from Fountain Green, Utah. I have a good memory of them, but not much about how they ended up in Oregon.
I visit there gravesite when I go through Pendleton maybe once or twice a decade. Do you have otteson information?
Thanks in advance.
