Daniel Duncan, above #, is 1 of my ancestors. His
father was David Duncan, born in KY., maybe and his
mother was Luvicia Halsell/Vicy Halsey, born in
KY. His siblings were Marium, Martha, Thomas,
William and Sarah. Marium/Marian m. Tilford Sharp
and Martha m. John Sharpe, Jr. I have a copy of
Daniel's b.c. and he was b. 29 April 1822 in
Fayette Co KY. 1 question; is his wife Delia also
on the gravestone? Thanks for all of your hard work.

I was at this cemetery, many times, along with Bill Scott, who was refurbishing the chapel. He & I dug up Capt. John Fowler & his wife Millie's stones, but I don't remember the ones in your photo. That was back in 1996, so...

I'm so glad you found your great-grandparents on here. I have relations in that cemetery, but not directly related to James & Florence. I'm happy to transfer them over to you.

Vicki Markussen
Salem Cemetery
Hello, you entered photos from the Salem Cemetery near Germantown, KY. I have a death certificate showing a Mrs. Walter Hill was buried there. Her name was Ella Mae (Crawford) Hill. 5/5/1892-2/18/1920. I am wondering if by any chance there are additional graves in the cemetary that may be hers?

RE: Jacob Harker
Hi, I am glad you sent a public response. Perhaps others will see it too. I saw your message beneath Jacobs photo and checked out the URL. It has a wonderful collection and yes it is too bad there are so many unidentified photos. I am glad I found Jacob Harker since he is my husbands great uncle. I knew he was a Civil War Veteran but didnt know how he died until I read it as part of his records. I sure wish I could locate some of his direct descendents.
I looked for a way to contact the Lilljegrins but couldnt find an email for them. Thank you for entering Jacob on Find A Grave.

Cheryl Ann Enyart
Fairview Cemetery , Gallia Co,OH
A lady(Nancy Hofer) posted over 200+ items to a cemetery (Fairview) of the same name but in a different county. I wrote her, and asked if she could please take them out of the Fairview in Gallia County, and put them in the Fairview of Guernsey Co, Ohio, where they belonged
She wrote to me that FINDAGRAVE was going to transfer hers to the correct cememtery..
INSTEAD, they transfered all of the graves from FAIRVIEW in GALLIA COUNTY, to FAIRVIEW CORPORATION cemtery in GUERNSEY COUNTY.

Please check with Find A Grave , your Daniels are now in Guernsey Co, Fairview Corp.
I have written the administrator and asked to have the Gallia Country transfered back.. they obliterated Fairview Gallia.
I am trying to go through and make a list of the ones that need to be in Gallia, maybe you can write them too

Genny Byrd
HILL grave marker
Hi, this may seem a little strange, but I found a picture of the Otis A. Hill grave marker from the Cades Cove Methodist Church Cemetery in McKay's Used Books in Chattanooga, TN. I am trying to do family research of my own & felt bad thinking that someone has lost a family photo. I search for the names on the photo and eventually found myself here. Would you know who to send this picture to or would you like to have it?
