Susan Ann Blakley
Forest Green City Cemetery
Hello! I was wondering if you can help me. Do you know if Forest Green (City Cemetery) was named Hoffman Cemetery? It's were the black people where buried. Or was there a section in the City Cemetery for blacks in Forest Green?

Some of my ancestors were buried in Hoffman Cemetery in Forest Green, MO. There is not Hoffman Cemetery listed on Find A Grave.

Thanks,
Susan

I am trying to find the parents of Jimmie Parks that was buried in Welch Cemetery in Chariton County. He was the 8 month old son of John J. Parks and died July 1887. There is no tombstone for him, this information came from a newspaper.

RE: Robert & Lena Fleming Memorial Moberly
I'm so sorry! I should have been more careful. I was going off a book from 1990 and didn't check dates as I should have. I live in Boone Co but will try to find the right one the next time I'm in the area if someone else doesn't fulfill it first. Again, sorry!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Nancy

You had sent several messages to HuntCoTXRoots about linking your relatives. She is an inactive contributor. Send an e-mail to katrina@findagrave.com and she will transfer the memorials owned by HuntCoTXRoots to your ownership. I just did that and graves have been transferred.

The Children could be buried in the old part of the cemetery; it is not listed in the records when the cemetery was read in 1989. If something shows up I will let you know.
