Dear Major M ~ Harvey was my mother's first cousin, and the only child his parents had. They decided to bury him in France so he would rest with his buddies. I didn't expect the surge of emotion that seeing his cross evoked. It's not likely that I'll ever be able to visit his grave myself and I can't thank you enough for making it possible for me to see it.

Dear Major M,

Thank you so much for taking the time to take the lovely photos of the Pleogsteert Memorial. My great uncle Sidney was very fondly remembered by my parents and the photos of his memorial stone will help me to bring closure to the sense of loss that has been passed down the generations.

I greatly appreciate the time and trouble involved in collecting these photographs.

Hello again, Major M ~

Yes, I am VERY interested in any additional photos you have of Henry Archie Morgan's panel and location. The names of several thousand Canadian casualties with no known grave are recorded on the Vimy Ridge memorial ... and to be able to "pinpoint" the actual location of Henry's name will be an unexpected and very welcome bonus.

Thank you, again, for your interest, your assistance, and your kindness ... all very much appreciated!

With best wishes,

~ Dave

Thank you for taking the time of your peaceful retirement and travelling to France to get this wonderful photograph. Our military members are of such value both living and passed and we should always remember their contributions.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it so much! I recently finished writing an article for the 379th Bomb Group Association Newsletter on the fated, last flight of the Blue Blazing Blizzard. In doing research, I learned that Clifford attended Valparaiso University and then located his picture from the 1942 yearbook! I intend to post it.

God Bless!
