RE: William Gilbert
I believe the Gilbert Historical Museum has this photo of William Gilbert. When I started my research on him, I called the Gilbert Museum to ask about where he was buried, the director told me at that time that William had died in Phoenix (which is true) and was probably buried in a Phoenix Cemetery. I contacted all those cemeteries to learn he was not buried in Phoenix.

I located his death certificate which stated he is buried in the Mesa City Cemetery. I went to the cemetery and was given the grave location. I took photos of that location which I posted on the memorial. What is SO SAD, William Gilbert DOES NOT HAVE A HEADSTONE !! His mother and sister are buried in the plot with him with headstones.

I am on the staff at the Mesa Family Search Library and think the City of Gilbert and the Museum should be informed of his. I think it is terrible that there isn't some kind of plaque with his name at the cemetery. If you want to talk to me about this, my number is 480-326-4620.

RE: George R. Brewster
You're most welcome!! I hope you saw the note that a Mrs. Geo. Brewster is buried next to him, in an unmarked grave. The cemetery record that I was given didn't give her first name or burial date, but Greenwood may have that info.

Oh....ok. I'm sending them a request to add Baptist to the name and also to add the address. I will also request the pictures be removed. I know Find A Grave is way behind in doing cemetery corrections. They have not done any cemetery corrections since the first of January. It just keeps growing!
Thanks for responding.

Fishing Creek Cemetery
Hi Jeanine. You uploaded two pictures to Fishing Creek Cemetery in York, York County, SC. The pictures show the name Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church. This church cemetery is not Fishing Creek Presbyterian. It is Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Fishing Creek Presbyterian is in Chester, Chester County, SC.

Your most welcome.. Actually that day it was Beautiful out in the 70's and I needed the sunshine. The cemetery is just a couple of miles away.. I think it was showing 3 children of theirs but I only seen 2 of the markers, I photographed all the markers except for the really bad unreadable ones. I didn't know about the request thing lol and been a member nearly 10 years. I have since wrote down requests of others for other cemeteries around here next pretty day I plan on trying to find some, I love helping.. The weather has dropped now and suppose to be in the 30's as long as the sun is shining I'll go out.. You have a great day, glad I got to help you...

Double braindead. I forgot about the cenotaph.
Please keep your memorial for Bobby since the 2 are linked. Yours is military, mine is the actual burial. They are fine the way that they are. This is a learning experience.

I am so sorry.

Hi Jeanine

Bobby is linked to Aunt Mary and she in turn is linked to him. It took forever, since this is something that I don't do often. Ah....it is DONE.

Thanks,
Margaret

Sidney Merrill Donihoo
Jeanine, you have a double entry with separate memorial numbers for Sidney Merrill Donihoo. Both entries have the same submission date. ??? If you delete one of them, I'd like to know which one so that I can correct my record.
Thanks,
Jerry Coulter

Arthur Harris Gravestone Photo Request
I have searched all around the Winfield City Cemetery to find Arthur's grave, and have not been able to find it. Is he buried beside any family? Maybe then I could find him. I won't report this as a problem and keep his request open in case someone else can find it. I am sorry I haven't been able to find it. I live here in Winfield and it has been no problem to go and find it. If you have any ideas, just leave me a note. If you need any other info or photos in Marion County, just let me know and I will try my best to get them for you.

Take Care,
Rebekah

Okay, I think I have figured this out...I believe this cemetery is listed "in error". The real name of this cemeter is Holbrook Campground Cemetery. I've been to this one before...it is a methodist cemetery on a church campground.

We probably need to delete this cemetery from the records, and add these two names to the cemetery called Holbrook Campground Cemetery. It is located in Forsyth County,

If you want, I can still secure the photograph, but I really think the two names need to be moved from this one, and this cemetery needs to be removed, to avoid further confusion.

Thanks!

RE: John Smith - Camp Ground Cemetery
Hi Jeanine:

I "think" could it be Holbrook Campground Cemetery? This cemetery is between Ball Ground, Georgia and Alpharetta...I've been to it once...I'm going to see if maybe his name is listed there...I'll keep you posted.

Hi Jeanine:

I would love to be able to fill your request for the above photograph; however, I cannot find any information on this cemetery, anywhere...I thought I knew where most of the cemeteries are in Woodstock, but I can't find it even by googling.

If you can give me a general idea of where it might be, I'll be glad to claim it :)

Thanks and have a good day!

Lillian Wyatt- Davis
I just posted the photo of Lillian's tombstone. It only has her initials on it and nothing else. It was on the right side of Don W. Wyatt. I hope this helps you out.
I hope you and your family are doing well. I am better now that the heat has finally cooled a little!

Take care and God Bless you and your family,
Rebekah

Marion County, Alabama Photo Requests
I am glad that you enjoyed the pictures of the Goodwater Russell family that I was able to get for you. It is a well maintained cemetery right in Winfield. I enjoy walking the cemeteries and taking photos for findagrave. I noticed you had a request for John J. Dickinson in the Burleson-Logan Cemetery here in Marion County also. It is on my list of hard to find cemeteries that I am going to try to find this winter. I do the cemeteries that are in the woods then because there is less heat and bugs! This cemetery is also known as the Green Cemetery. The directions I have for the cemetery comes from the book Cemetery Inscriptions of Marion County Vol. II and III. This transcriptions were done in the late '70's. I will let you know what I find when I go out there. I will also try to get over to the Fairview Cemetery and get those pics that you need also. It is near a church and should not be hard to get to or too grown up.

I love findagrave and being able to help others out by getting photos for people. My main lines of genealogy are: Nipper, Stricklin, Franks, Maddox, Koester, Buerger, Starritt, and Brogdon. The Koester, Buerger, Starritt and Brogdon's are mainly in Texas where the Nipper, Stricklin, Franks and Maddox's are mostly here in Alabama or Georgia.

If you need any photos here in Marion County or in Fayette, Lamar or Walker County, just let me know and I will be happy to help you out in any way I can. My family instilled in me a passion for history and for helping others. My great-grandmother Almer Stricklin Nipper told me to never talk bad about anyone here because we are related to everyone! Which comes in very handy when you need to knock on doors and ask others where a certain cemetery is!

Take care and don't hesitate to let me know if I can help you out in any way.

Rebekah
