RE: Solomon Friedman - Sarah Friedman
I just posted the photos of their tombstones.

I do not know if they are husband and wife or not.
Maybe if you know someone that could translate to tombstone, that would help.

I am not a relative, just a person pursuing something he enjoys doing.

Annie Adelaide Atkins
Hi Ms. Schwartz,

Thank you for your contact about Annie Adelaide Atkins. I tried to confirm her DOD, and it does appear that she died in 1905, not 1935. I hope this helps with your research. I also hope you will forgive my delay in responding to your request.

RE: Mount Zion Cemetery
Thank you so much for wondering around the Mount Zion cemetery, finding the available grave markers. AS for Delilah Claridge and husband Taylor Ham: Their graves are indeed unmarked. Delilah died before 1888. Taylor then married my direct relative, Fannie Bray Fail. I have a copy of that marriage license. Three online databases include Delilah Claridge in the Mount Zion cemetery and state "wife of Taylor Ham." I do not know where that information came from, but apparently Taylor's direct descendant found that information too. However, this relative attended Taylor's funeral and attests that Taylor was indeed buried in the cemetery just a bit to the right of the Claridge family area. The only marker he had was a metal post that was provided by the Ham Brothers Funeral home in existence in 1956. Anyway, thanks so much for trudging through. When I attempt my search I'll know more about where to look, not that I will be able to identify by site an unmarked grave…

Sardis Cemetery
Darla - I appreciate your time and am very sorry to hear that Sardis Cemetery is in such sad shape. I have removed my request for a tombstone photo for Nola Estelle Cone Williams since I do not know a plot number or appoximate location of her grave. Thank you again for the time you spent searching the cemetery. K. West

Thanks you so much for the picture. There is also a memorial for her husband William Etheridge (49473466), if you want to add the picture there.
