I believe there are two records for this man so it is confusing.
records 37010991 and 37011041. I found this information by googling his name. One record has his nick name of Sonnie on it and a bio. which was interesting.

Edward J Dearmore
I believe/suspect Edward J Dearmore is the father of Lillie Evelyn Keith, wife of my gggreat uncle James Isaac Keith (they are also the parents of the husband of my great aunt Frances Palestine Vail).

I'd like to use your photo for a thumbnail in my wiki.

Lois Ams
Meek family
I do not know who Louise is. Alvin was he son of
Moses Harvey Meek born 25 Jul 1839 and died27 Sep 1929. Moses Harvey was a great grand uncle of my husband's and a brother to Howard Turner Meek (great grandfather of my husband's). Howard died quite early and Moses Harvey raised, Howard's two sons and his sister raised Howard's daughter. I have not been able to find out exactly what Howard and his wife died of but Moses Harvey Meek went over into Arkansas or Missouri and got the children and took them to Dickson county. Howard's son, Joseph, married Ron's grandmother and they named two of their three sons after this Meek side. Harvey was named after Moses Harvey and Cletus was named after Harvey's son - who is also buried in this Meek Cemetery.

The Meeks that are buried in this cemetery are those directly related to Moses Harvey except one stranger who adopted their Church of Christ faith and wanted to buried in their cemetery.

Moses Harvey Meek was the son of Moses Christopher Meek and Clemency Laws. Moses Christopher was a Primitive Baptist minister and preached in the Turnbull Primitive Baptist Church there in Dickson Co., TN. His son Howard married Mary Jane Cochran Turnbull who was a widow and had two sons. I have never been able to connect the Turnbull Church with Mary Jane.

I have quite a bit of info on this Meek family if you are interested. Lois

No, I'm not related to her. She just popped up in some research I was doing on another family. I like to connect people to their families on when I can.

john davis memorial
thank you for taking the time to connect these memorials. I love it when family's can work together to connect loved ones so all can enjoy. you asked about pictures. All the pic of the family on my lineage we lost when grandma and grandpa's house burnt. I am sorry I can not help you with that. I am so honored to meet you even if it is through a web site that pays tribute to those that most of us have only heard stories about but have never met.
Thank you again'

RE: troop stone

My pleasure. I will never forget where their stone is. Parts of the cemetery are very muddy and mushy. I had my map out and my laptop looking up locations to spot hers exactly. I found the row, and thought well it cant be too far down here, I will just wade through it..Before I knew it I was sinking.. lol I got it though...To me that is what grave finding is all about..They died to get there. I can walk through mud for them! :)

Sharron, I went back to the cemetery and ask again about this person, again they said, couldn't find him, I told the lady that he was there and to please check maybe in another file. Sure enough she found him and told me he was in Section # 15 St Theresa, #396.He would be on the end by the street.I checked the whole Section, Sorry to say he does not have a headstone. But he was found.
She told me he died at East Colorado St on Feb. 7, 1949.I see that you have Feb 3. So just wanted to tell you all the info..
