Jeremiah Evarts Platt Memorial
Dear Nancy:

Thanks so much for transferring the Jeremiah Evarts Platt memorial in Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan, Ks. This is greatly appreciated as it allows for easy tweaking of his bio if need be.

Jeremiah was from a remarkable New England family and an important figure in making Kansas a free state prior to the civil war. Also had a distinguished career as an academic and Congregational minister here in Kansas and Oklahoma.

The Riley County Genealogical Society is very fortunate to be housed in the handsome house he built in Manhattan in 1871.

All the best and thanks again,
Barry Michie
President, Riley County Genealogical Society

Find A Grave Memorial# 35331565 Moses Lorenzo Tabler
Moses in this site has him with his wife and dates for birth/death/marriage. In researching, Find A Grave showed another memorial for the same person - Moses Lorenzo Tabler Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Saint Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas, USA

Created by: Marie
Record added: Jan 31, 2008
Find A Grave Memorial# 24289362

I believe these are the same person - shouldn't they be merged?

You have a headstone photo of a Kinsey Simonton posted to this memorial. Can you remove it please unless you know of some reason why it should remain?

Thanks, Lisa

Ann Harris Humble
Bessie I. Craig # 35133376
Bessie I. Thompson Craig's parents are also buried at the Wamego City Cemetery. Charles Henry Thompson memorial # 35331631 is her father; her mother is Mary Rosa Dike Thompson # 35331640. Bessie is mentioned in both obituaries of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson. I am acquainted with this family as Bessie Craig was a 1st cousin once removed to me.

I would appreciate it if a link could made from Bessie to her parents as listed above.

Richard Earl
Hi Nancy,
I've got a huge favor to ask you. You & Raymond both took pictures of our cousin Richard's headstone & I'd like you to remove it. I'm going to have him remove his too. I took a very nice one on a sunny day & would like to post it, but it would take up too many photo spots. They only allow 5 unless you sponsor the memorial & I'm going to eventually, but it's down on my list.
Like you, I'm disabled & doing photo taking for Find A Grave. Thanks for all you do. I hope I haven't offended you.
Best regards,

Lois Thompson
Hi Nancy,
I don't know if you noticed, but there are two headstone pictures for her. I think one is better than the other. I'd suggest you delete the one that's not as good. Lois is my husband's cousin. I just think it would leave room for other photos. I'm going to add a couple soon.
Thanks in advance,
Sue Bowen

The other (which we believe to be correct) is:

Louise I Dayhoff (1871 - 1872)*

Leonard's father
I had the repeat and inaccurate David Prunty memorial (attached to your Leonard) deleted by findagrave admins for blatant rule violations. You can used my original David Prunty Memorial (#156270507) to give a more accurate and complete display of your Prunty line to apparent progenitor Bryon Prunty.

RE: Eliza Seery
Understand now, Nancy; thanks for clarifying. Have now posted the requested 2013 photos to the memorial created by Jan (the memorial with more info). Did not post your photo of the full length memorial stone because that was your original picture. I did save your picture to my PC, if you do need that posted and don't have it in your files any longer. Am thinking Jan will want to rearrange the photos on Eliza's page. Blessings, Debbie
