george Keck site location
I tried to find the grave site of George Keck(1744-1815) and could not find it. There is a pic of tombstone but I could not see it on walking the old cemetery site. The cemetery said he is buried in plot #214 but they have no map. Do you have map or tell me where to find the grave?
George and Philip Keck are my 4th and 5th Grandfathers. Both served in the Militias.
Thanks, Susan Bernard

Jane Feldmann Cook
Francis McVicker photo request
Hi, I tried to find the stone today for Francis McVicker and could not find one in or near the lot of that section or in the section next to it. I also did not have a record of a stone when I transcribed stones in that section years ago. Of course it could always be missing, unmarked or listed in the wrong location. Good luck. Jane

I just wanted to let you know that on Bejamin's stone his last name is spelled Goleday. Not sure if that will be helpful to you, but seen that you requested it and wanted to tell you since you can not read the stone. It is very eroded and illegible.

Charles Ellison in Greenwood Cemetery, Marion, VA
There is no grave marker for Charles Franklin "Frank" Ellison or for his brother Gordon Edd "Gord" Ellison in Greenwood cemetery. To my knowledge there was not a marker placed at either grave.

B.J. Waters
John Currey photo request.
I am sorry to have to report to you that there is no marker for John. I am adding only a photo of the area, with a description on where his grave is under the photo caption. I wish this could have been a more positive outcome.

Regards,
B.J.

I will do my best to get a photo, but my recollection is that there is just a ground marker with his name but no dates on it.

This person not buried in the
Martin Crouse cemetery. I went
to cemetery to take the photo
request and did not find the grave.
Alleghany County records show that
they are buried at Crouse Cemetery,
3/4 mile off Highway 221 behind the
home of Robert Lee Crouse.
I did leave the contributor a message
about the problem.

Laura
CHC
Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

RE: Fairfax Cemetery
Happy to take the photos for you. Returning the favor from so many others that did the same for me.

I noticed after I posted them that there were some of the same photos already. I did not see any special instructions so I figured you just needed photos.

I was told by the caretaker that Bernice was cremated. Did you need anything else? Happy to help.
