RE: John McCague Miller
Hi Pat,
I'm related to Alma's Gass's family through the Gass & Pearson lines.

Thanks again for the newspaper article. Let me know if you would like John's memorial transferred to you? It would be a fair trade since you transferred his wife, Alma, to me. :-)

Virginia Brown
Alma & John Miller
The transfer of Alma's memorial means a lot to me, and I sincerely appreciate your thoughtfulness. Thanks also for the article about John. I have spent hours trying to find more information, so was pleased to find your article. I suspected it might be something like this from the short article that I had found; the whole situation was a sad one. They started out with such high hopes early in their lives.

In return for your generosity I hope someone does something to help you out on FindAGrave.

Best regards, Virginia

David L Aten Sr
RE: Aten family
Our common ancestor is Adrian Hendrick Aten 1695-1759. His son Jan Jon (a Twin) 1732-1824 (your ancestor) was a brother to Detrick Richard Aten 1721-1809 (my ancestor). Depending how you look at blood lines, I think you are more closely related to Aaron Kimble than I am. However, I would be happy to maintain the memorial(s) if you like. I will be looking at your posted information. Thank You David

James Strong
Robb Family
Hi Pat,

I read your info on William Robb and Iam interested in any info you may have regarding his sister Ellen Robb who was the mother of my gg grandmother Elizabeth Sarah Robb who married my gg grandfather Andrew Strong. They had 4 children Rebecca, Catherine, William & James. James Strong was my g grandfather. I have Sarah and the children on the 1850 cenus but Andrew is not listed. The family arrived from Ireland in 1844 and settled in Huntingdon Co, Pa I Have no info as to what happened to Andrew Strong and where he and Sarah are buried at. Any info regarding Robb/Strong family would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Thomas and Emma Hosick

Thanks, yes I would like to manage Emma and Thomas' memorials. I am just getting into adding things on Find A Grave. Do you have any photos of John Hosick's wife Mariah Axtell? I found that in the cemetery in Iowa they show one headstone as John Hosick but actually I think it's his wife Mariah. I've asked someone if they would check the headstone and take a photo.
