I am wondering if there is any way you can tell me where the photo you posted on #42640992 came from. I have never seen it before and Gladys Solberg (woman in the photo) was my grandmother.

|Karyn Buckner Garvin||RE: Cheney Cemetery|
That's great, but there's still duplicate entries in two different cemeteries on the site that need to be dealt with. The easiest thing is for the contributors who created the entries to get together to figure out what to do to resolve the problem. Whether it's one cemetery or two cemeteries, and what to do with the duplicate entries once the problem is solved.
If it's supposed to be only one cemetery, the two need to be merged by submitting a request on the Cemetery Fix thread on the Forums here:
then the dupe entries have to be deleted or merged by sending in requests to the Edit email address.
If it's supposed to be two different cemeteries on the site, the contributor who has them in the wrong cemetery needs to delete their entries or request them to be merged by sending in requests to the Edit email address.
I hope the other contributor(s) will work with you to resolve this and clean up the mess.

|Gone But Not Forgotten||John Wolcott, II # 22418549|
Hi, I saw you posted a picture on John Wolcott, II memorial # 22418549. I was wondering if you have more information about this area. The picture you posted, says died Aug. 20, 1750 age 23.
The memorial it is on has birth 1677 which would be age 73. In my tree I do have a John Wolcott died 20 Aug 1750 but he is the son of John Wolcott 1696 – 1743 and Anne Sperry 1696 – 1769, not John and Mary (Chester) Wolcott. Did you happen to see another John in the same cemetery, do you remember where the picture was taken?
Thank you for any info you may have.

I found this article in The Matawan Journal, Matawan, N.J. Saturday, July 8, 1871. Vol. III
A little son of Hon. James Nichols, of Hartford, Conn., was accidentally and fatally shot, by a student who was practicing with a rifle.

Please transfer 2nd Great Grandfather James Tryon Standish # 26719646 if you wouldn't mind... You graciously transferred his wife Jerusha already.
You may also transfer 26719650 Martha Louise Perkins Standish (great Aunt) - have added her photos today.
Many ancestors are buried in Wethersfield or Hartford with last names: STANDISH, HOWARD, BUTLER, CHURCHILL, ANDRUS, BELDEN, WELLS, TRYON, SIMMONS, HOWE, HALL DAVISON, BARBY, NEWTON, VANDERBURGH ... if I can be of assistance! I would be happy to respond to any inquiries.

Thank you so much for finding some of my lost relatives and taking the time to photograph the graves. I would never have been able to see their graves because I live so far away. May I please use your photo in my family tree?

Birthdate seems to be wrong. I believe it's 1879...instead of 97.

When the snow melts...may be a while at this point..I want to finish photographing this smallish cemetery nearby. I promise I'll take good gravestone photos so they can be read...at least I hope so. Let me know if there is a problem.
Good luck with your genealogy,

|Ron N||Request to use photos with permission|
I would like to request to post your headstone photos on the corresponding WikiTree profiles of the Prichard families. I would, of course, give credit and acknowledgement of you work and efforts in appreciation of their use. WikiTree is a free site that encourages a collaborative worldwide family tree.
P.S. Your photos have helped settle the argument of the spelling of the surname for this family.

I checked with the cemetery office in Manchester and they said there is no record of Virginia Wright Pease being buried in East Cemetery (or any other in Manchester) even though the family stone has her name on it. Sorry. Linda

Kate - a BIG thank you for posting these photos! In the picture of the Tuttle family headstone there appears to be four smaller headstones/footstones. Do you know the names on these headstones? Thank you again! Jon
