RE: Death of Margaret Woods Brawley
Okay, thanks. Bill Warren posted the page from the Probate of John F. Brawley to prove the information on her findagrave link.

Amy the Spirit Seeker
Civil War Veterans
Hello, I keep a virtual cemetery of any veterans I run across that are buried in Washington County, Texas. Here are the URLs for both the Confederate and Union soldiers, if you want to add any of them to your own broader lists of Civil War vets. :)

If they are missing their state information on their memorial or headstone, let me know and I can find out for you (since I notice you sort by state of service).

Thank you for doing the family links and adding the information for John and Pearl Carruth Amos. I appreciate you taking your time to do these.

There are no records showing that Elizabeth Diadama Kendall O'Neal is buried in Myrtle Cememtery. Do you have something that no longer exists?

Sir- do you have any additional information on 27553600, G W Thomason? Can he be the person who joined Confederate Army in Cherokee County TX? If so, he would have been in Co B, 17th TX Cav.
Thanks Steve White

JoAnne Peake
Jefferson Peak
He is in my genealogy, distant branch. I do have information that matches. It was said in one produced gen.file, that his Father Jesse Peak had 3 wives., 1. Elizabeth Cooper d.c1792 1. Sally Scanland d.1813, 3. Judith ___d1823, so it appears he had the 4th wife. Jesse Peak's father was Pvt. John Peake and Jemina ___, his father was John Peake III and Lucy Gregg of Pr. Wm. Co., Va., his father John Peake II and Mary (Spence), his father was John Peake I and Mary Harrison, the first Peak/Peake of this line into America.
