Humphrey Needham memorial
Would you please link Humphrey Needham Jr. - memorial # 53894172 to his parents:
Humphrey Needham Sr. #83694903
Dorothy [Munger] Needham #83695217

And add this bio:
He was the first European to make an opening in their dense forest to permit the sun's beams to reach, invigorate, and fertilize the soils.
He was a man of respectability - never evil eyed, or evil minded, always actated by good motives, but did not occupy so high a seat upon Mt. Intellect as his honored fathers. None of his first wife's children settled here permanently.

John Beckstein
Union Center Cemetery
Hi John

I see you added gravestones & Pictures to the Union Center Cemetery in Union CT. I'm not certain but I believe these are actually graves from the Old Union Center Cemetery?? The two cemeteries are close in Proximity to each other. If I'm wrong, please disregard.

Thanks

John

Thomas Peck
You photographed this stone. Any idea why there are two markers? His Father was Thomas Peck as well. I believe his Mother was, Charity Allen Carpenter by her first marriage. She is buried in the same cemetery.

R. A. Schauweker
Abigail Corbin
It's possible there's a mismatching of your listing and photo. The photo you've provided reads "...wife of Mr. John Corbin;" the listing suggests this Abigail died 9 days after her sixth birthday - and also suggests she married a Corbin as opposed to being born a Corbin.

Ebenezer and Martha Dresser Corbin did have a daughter, Abigail, that died prematurely; they also had one that lived to marry Amos Broughton II.

RE: Daniel and Abigail Alden
John -

I respect your decision completely regarding not disturbing Daniel's grave to read the epitaph. :D
I will try to make out what I can, and perhaps if the fates allow I will be able to visit and pay my respects myself some day. In the meantime, your gracious work means more to me than I can say.
Warmly,
Victoria Camp

Daniel and Abigail Alden
John, just a question -
Did you happen to make note of the writing on th headstones of Daniel and Abigail Alden when you were there? If not, please don't think I'm complaining at all - just wondering. Cannot make out Daniel's, although Abigail's is VERY clear. My warm thanks again.
