|Richard Jones ||margarette clendennen German|
I am researching Margarette Clendennen German, born 1823 and died 1887. Her maiden name was clendenen. I am researching her in reference to my Great Great Grandfather William Jones 1820 to 1906. He is buried in Sefton, Fayette county Illinois. We know very little of his history prior to coming to Illinois from Indiana in 1853. and nothing prior to 1840 when he settled in bartholowmew County Indiana. the only thing we know from his early days is that he had a half sister by the name of Elizabeth Clendenen Spruill. In Elizabeth's will she mentions two other half sisters Mary Smith and Margarette Clendennen. There is a definite connection between William Jones, Elizabeth "Clendenen" Spruill and Margarette "Clendenen" Spruill. I just cannot find it. I was wondering if you could shed some light on it. Your name is on findagrave as the source connecting the three.

|Kevin Walker||Josiah McKee's death certificate|
Hi Glenda. I am a relative of Josiah McKee. I am curious what you make of his death certificate? Is the informant "Bennett" or "Barrett," and if it is the latter, is it an in-law? Why not his wife Julia's name listed? Did you ever find out why he was in the state asylum? Looking for your opinions and thoughts. Thanks. Kevin

Thanks for the link!
My dad has been at Kaiser for the last week, so I haven't had much time to do anything "genealogy".
Hope to get back to explore what you have in the next week or so. I'm sure I'll be talking to you.

Richard and Sarah are my 2nd Great Grandparents on my grandmother's side of the family; Richard Clements (1876-1936) was my great grandfather.
Glad to see Richard, Sarah, and John Samuel are in good hands.

Just wanted to let you know there is a photo of Jesse Predmore's headstone (Park Lawn cemetery) with a slightly different birth date (15 Sep) from what you show (17 Sep).

|Cindy ||Noble Askew # 92736560|
Hi! Are you sure the death date is correct? I found a Noble Askew on the 1920 Pike County census listed as a widower and living alone. This may be a link to my niece's family tree so that is why it is important.

You have suggested that her maiden name is Miller and her middle name is Elizabeth. I have posted something like that in the past but there is no proof that I know of. If you have proof let me know what it is and I'll accept the suggestion.
If you don't have proof please tell me so that I can reject the suggestion right away. These things need to be done as correct as possible.

Hi! Glenda: I recently had a message from a great granddaughter of Millard's from his first marriage. Would you please make one correction on the info on Find A Grave -- Iowa City is in Johnson County, NOT Wright! Check a map if you like! If you would like info on the first marriage, I can send it to you. Can't link here yet -- can't find burial of first wife in Appanoose County IA yet.
Thanks, Jeanne R. (Find A Grave # 47821368)

|Ruthe||Mary E. Glaves|
Are you related to the Mary E. Glaves you entered on find a Grave? What are the possibilities that there were two Mary E. Glaves, same birthdate, same death date? I am researching some of my sidelines of the DANCE family. The Mary E. Glaves that I am searching for, was married to Charles W. Glaves. He was the son of Betsy (Elizabeth Dance) Charles is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Quincey, Adams Co., Illinois, there is also a headstone for Mary E. Glaves his wife there too. Do you think this is the same woman? Her maiden name was Harvard. Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.

|Connie Clark||RE: Sparrows|
I just looked at all the photos from the 2 different trips we made there and do not have James parents. His stone was right next to a tree and it's possible that they are on the side since he was young, but normally we notice that and take photos. If we were closer we'd go take a look but we are over an hour away. If we get back that way we will. There was a George Sparrow in the adjoining cemetery ( Park Lawn ) who I added a photo to. Sorry😕

I'll check our photos. I think I put them all up but will look. If we find family , especially with a less common name, we take pictures of all of them. If I find them I will let you know and upload them~ Connie
