RE: Maggie Davis
Yes, you may use the photos. The family must have been "of wealth" in Wichita Falls. Their headstone is one of the largest in the cemetery. Julie

You're most welcome! btw we did not see the Lockards at that cemetery. There were a few broken stones and some stones that looked like they might have been "hand scratched" at the time of burial. I do not like to mark them not found because in a different time of day someone else might see the name. Every time I see a Lockard at a nearby cemetery I check them out. Also, I didnt catch that it might be William Norris vice Taylor Norris. I'm sure there was a Norris we didn't take a picture of that wasn't Taylor.

Youre very welcome!! You and anyone else can use any photograph I take for personal use and to share with family. I do it for families of the person anyway :). I know how it goes about visiting those not near.

Martha McCaffrey Dobbins
Pleasant Valley Cemetery
RE: Jesse and Martha Acton Wharton

I have a photo of Martha Wharton tombstone that is illegible so I requested another photoalong with her husband's. You have stated neither of these folks tombstones could be found. I am re-requesting tombstone photos in hopes of getting a more legible photo...you deleted my previous request. There is a grove of trees in background. Maybe someone else might have better luck. Thank you.

Virginia Graves
RE: Edward Haskins
Jim,
In case you don't know, Edward's daughter, Nannie, as a teenage girl, kept a diary during Clarksville's occupation by the Union during the Civil War. It is quoted frequently during Ken Burns' PBS Series on the Civil War. While available as a manuscript in some libraries, it's been transcribed now and will soon be published.

thank you
Thank you Jim for the photo. I really appreciate it. We have been so tied up with family illness and my own health issue I have not been out to Center League in a long time. My husband and I use to mow that cemetery with our boys years ago. We spent many hours there.

I appreciate your help so much,
