Ok so you have some information about the Busbys. i dont have a lot past Miles...i do have that his father was Philip Busby and mother was Nancy(?). i dont have any brother or sister information....Its funny to me that we know where some of Miles and Prudence sons are buried that died during the civil war but we can not find the father and mother...If no one can find the graves how do we know they are unmarked?....Since i have been doing my family tree, i have found out how rich in confederate history my family is....i cherish these findings and i am so proud to be a part of this family and a southerner.

|Donna Chapman||Busby and Sturkie Families|
I have two questions for you. In your research of the Busbee/Busby Family have you ever come across a woman named Siddy Busbee. She was born in North Carolina, and married an Abner Smith, who was a Primitive Baptist minister. She was his first wife. I'm his gg granddaughter through his second marriage.
Also I do research on the Sturkie clan for a friend of mine, whose mother was a Sturkie. Have you ever found a Eudene Sturkie who married George P. McSwain? She descends from this family. Her father was George Dewey Sturkie. My private e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org.
