W. W. Coffee
William W. Coffey is not buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Oxford College, Oxford, Georgia but is buried in the Confederate Cemetery at Covington, Georgia which is about two miles south of Oxford. Both cemeteries are easily accessible and well maintained.

1st Corporal Coffey was a member of Company D, 26th Tennessee Infantry. He died in the Hill Hospital at Covington, Georgia on July 11, 1864

Mary Susan 'Polly' Carrico Faddis 67671696
You have a death year of 1888 for Mary Susan 'Polly' Carrico Faddis [memorial # 67671696]. I suspect that may not be accurate. My daughter got an 1874 death date for her from a Faddis descendant. Since Andrew Faddis, her husband, has an 1888 death date, perhaps his death date was copied to her memorial. I have no other source, but thought you might want to verify the date just to be sure. Thanks.

Mr & Mrs
Lillie Reed
Thanks for the additional info on Lillie.
Please note she is buried in the Old Sardis in New Hope. For some reason Find A Grave has combined Sardis and Old Sardis. They are located on opposite ends of the county.
Thanks

James Coffey, Caldwell County, NC
Hello,

Thank you for adding James Coffey to the FindsGrave database. I am researchung this family through his daughter Louisa who married John Jackson. According to the 1850 census James was still alive, living with his son Marvel. The reference for it on Ancestry.com is Kings Creek, Caldwell, North Carolina; Roll: M432_623; Page: 38A; Image: 81.

Sincerely,
Carole Gilmour

Nancy J. Goff Tittle
When you were in the Tittle Cemetery, quite unruly, did you notice other tombstones of ancestors? I've been there twice but have not been able to find it again. It's on private property. Nancy J. Goff Tittle married my gggrandfather Lorenzo Tittle who was born in Warren County, TN in 1831. Have you had much success in finding other Goff family members? Nancy's dad was William Goff and her mom ws Phoebe Walling. Maudie Virginia Tittle Smith was my grandmother. She married Andrew Harrison Smith, Sr. Ms. Maudie and "Harrison" are buried in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Cannon County, TN with their children Vernie, "Cecil," Norena, and Uncle "H," Jr.

Goff
Hi, there! Just dropping you a note to tell you Ambers Carroll Goff had a sister, Nancy A. Goff, born 04 Apr 1833 in Cannon Co., TN. She married Lorenzo Dow Tittle born 1831, Warren Co., TN. She is buried in the Old Tittle Cemetery. Their son, Samuel C. Tittle, Sr.'s 1st wife was my ggrandmother, Sarah A. Lance born either Warren or Cannon Co., TN in 1859. She is also buried in the Old Tittle Cemetery in Cannon Co., TN. The cemetery is not maintained at all. Samuel and Sarah had a daughter named Maudie Virginia Tittle who married Andrew "Harrison" Smith, Sr. I believe you may find some Smiths in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery of interest to you. And you can also refer to Edward C. "Coonie" Smith buried in the Kirby Cemetery in Warren Co., TN. His son, William "Hamilton" Smith was my ggrandfather. There are Smiths in Altamont Cemetery, Grundy Co. and the Charles Creek Cemetery in Kirby as well.

RE: Fairchild-Hayes
Margaret, wonderful! I have no problem whatsoever if you are related in keeping the memorials you have made! I know a couple of the people who have added memorials here and we correspond fairly regularly. I suspicion (as do others of the family) that Ebnezer and his two wives are buried here, but until we can get on a schedule where we can keep up the cemetery and actually locate graves (and I believe we counted 16 last year), I am hesitant to do anything about adding names. To answer your question, Clara and Ruth more or less volunteered. When Wyatt's mother died, his father (so it goes) thought he had to farm, etc. and he could not raise a "baby" and do that, too. Clara and Rachel volunteered to take the child in (for various reasons I suppose)and Rice (Wyatt's father) eventually moved. I don't know when or where, but he left Wyatt with Clara and Rachel. So, that's all I know on that. Thanks for messaging me back! And thanks for being diligent and active in Find A Grave!

FYI - her name was Belle. I noticed you had her as Delle in a communication with Jonathan Grimm. She was my mother-in-law's grandmother.

Barbara Campbell
Anna Boone Coffey
Anna Boone Coffey was the daughter of Jesse Boone and Sarah McMahan and was the (GREAT) niece of Daniel Boone. On Oct. 16, 1804, she married William Coffey in (Wilkes) CO, North Carolina. Together Anna and William had 5 children. She was buried in the Rufus Baptist Church (CeMetery), (MulLbeRry) Community, Caldwell CO, North Carolina .
The above shows corrections for Anna's bio. Jesse Boone Was Daniel's nephew thru his brother Israel. Watauga county did not exist in 1804. Cemetery and Mullberry are misspelled. Her # is 30421299.

Polly Dowell Coffey
Thanks for the info. as I didn't know where George was buried. I linked Polly to her father George. I also linked her with Jane (If Jane is not her mother please let me know and I will remove that link.)

I have an Indiana payment record which indicates that George died on Oct. 9, 1845 and a pension request record which indicates that he was born in either 1759 or 1760 in Albermarle County, VA. Rev. Reuben Coffey is mentioned as a his son-in-law.
(Rev. Reuben Coffey is my ggggrandfather.) Thanks again, Janet

That is a great one... You may want to post it on the other family member's sites. Mae is the one directly above her Mother.. Except for the parents I am not absolutely certain of the others.
