Ouida LaVerne Burrough Ziy #109099199
I am a direct descendent of Oudia LaVerne. She was my grandfather's sister. I am new to FindAGrave and am attempting to connect family pages together. I can offer Memorial #'s for Ouida's parents and some of her siblings. Please advise on how best to do that within your comfort zone. Thank You for your time and consideration. Your efforts are appreciated!

Pfc Ziy
I'm doing research about the Marines that were killed in Vietnam while serving with Echo Company.
I served with the same company during 1969.
Would you consider transferring Memorial #19099285 of Pfc Gerald W Ziy to me?

Lillie May Beck Austin was my great grandmother's stepmother and that is pretty much all I know about her except that she is buried with my great grandma's father.

This is the website for it.

Its just a huge network of funeral homes and cemeteries around the country. I haven't read everything on the page, so I don't know if any of them do charge for grave look-ups. I do know that the one locally doesn't charge. I find it awful that one does charge. But then the new owners are just looking out for their own pockets I guess.

RE: Vivian Jordan
I looked up that cemetery on the Internet and its listed as part of that DIGINITY group that is nation wide. I have my own pre-need plan at a DIGNITY funeral home here in Amarillo, Texas. They're the nicest people and don't charge for look ups. It blows my mind to think that cemeteries are using that to gain more funds. Oh well, enough of my "soap box." I don't have a clue where in that cemetery Vivian or her husband are buried. Vivian's husband was my late husband's maternal uncle. His mother and her family remained in Mobile, Alabama while Woodrow, Vivian and some other family members moved to Michigan years ago. Distant kept all of them from staying in touch like they probably wished later that they had and that's how come I know so little about that branch of the family. If I accidently come across the information on where their graves are located, I'll let you know. Thank you for getting back to me aboout this matter.

Dana, thank you for the information. I will
wait on this. I might be able to find out
from one of the immediate family memeber of
Ernest and Angeline where the graves are.

Again thank you for your efforts and the information.

Dan Ledbetter
Hey Dana,
I don't have anything else on Mr. Ledbetter. I don't do pictures (not smart enough to take and put on computer). I checked Find A Grave, state of Missouri and I don't see any other Dan Ledbetter listed. If you find out that he is related to you, I'll be glad to transfer him to you.

Hi Dana,
Got an off the wall question for you. I live on a Butterfield Dr. in Genesee Twsp., MI. It was named after the farmers who owned the land. By chance, is there any connection. Also, saw your memorials in Hickory Island for the Butterfields. I believe I may also have GGGG grandfather in that cemetery. I'm still attempting to verify.
Thanks Jeff

RE: Donald Taylor
Could it be because they might be adding his wife to the stone. She just past away in March.
Her name is Alta Louise Styles Taylor.
