|in memory of grandma||Charles Wayne "Chuck" Reist|
Thanks for hooking him up with his dad. (Sorry, I haven't found info about his mother's location.)
It amazes me that when I'm working on another part of the state, I don't think our paths will cross. then I find connections again in western Kansas where you have memorials.
Case in point, this man is related to Julius F. Smith also in that same cemetery. Julius's maternal grandmother, Nettie Jane (Jenkins) Cross was a sister to Ella Mable (Jenkins) Reist who was Chuck's paternal grandmother. Hopefully, they knew of each other...

Many thanks for deleting Mable's duplicate memorial. Her grave marker must have been purchased by her side of the family. Her husband is not buried there and Mable isn't even buried in the same cemetery as her husband. Thanks again.

Looks perfect! Thanks so much.
His very young widow later married his cousin Joe Roland and had two children. Joe and Francis were pilots together in the war, along with Joe's older brother Elvin.
I'm so glad you made this memorial.
Best wishes, Suzanne

|Evelyn J Herron||RE: Luke & Mary West|
Thanks so much for transferring the Luke and Mary Light West memorials to me. They are my great grandparents. I did not know them, but have researched them thoroughly. My mother knew and treasured her grandparents, and I did know my mother's aunts and uncles who were their children. I will tend the memorial with care.

The Find A Grave guidelines make sense. You don't know how much I appreciate all your help with updating the Ulysses Cemetery. Your responsiveness has made this possible.

The information I provided is for the parents of Bernard H. Berning. I haven't found their graves yet, but wanted to put that information there in case someone else may know where they are located. You can change the wording to make that more clear.

Yes, Elizabeth Kohl has the maiden name of Berning. I don't know if I updated it yet, but I can do that. I also realized that Bernard Berning is there father and he is buried in the same cemetery. So that should take cake of the sibling relationship.
