RE: McClung and Hill Cemetery
Sorry for belated answer to this--I used GPS to find McClung-Hill but can't find the entry in my Garmin. I do remember this: If you know where Bethel West Cemetery is, you can go down the dirt road in front of it (it may be Co. Rd. 7?)for .9 to 1 mile and you will see a dirt trail on the left leading to a small creek. The creek is very shallow (ankle deep or so)and only about 10 feet wide as I recall. You have to cross this creek and then continue on the dirt path about 3/10 of a mile and cemetery is in the woods on left. If I get back that way soon I can send GPS coordinates.

Sorry to be so long in answering your message. I know who Uncle Henry was but don't remember ever meeting him and I don't know their children either. Sorry I do not have any pictures of the children either.

Andrew J. Swan
Hi Kathy.

I saw a comment that you left on the Find A Grave Site for Almedia (Almeda) Hulsey Swan Horton. Her 1st husband was Andrew J. Swan, who you felt is the son of Mary Swann, sister of one of your Ancestors. I have been looking for his family for years! I sent you an e-mail yesterday, but as you did not yet respond I thought I would Post on here. Almedia and Andrew J. Swan's first child was May Etta Swan. She is my Great Grandmother. Thank you for commenting. I hope to hear from you soon!

Sorry, I am not related. My husband and I are just working on the cemeteries in my area so that all of the graves are documented. I also try to put in info and links for all my memorials to help families searching for their loved ones find them.

Jennifer Craven
RE: Pervy L Craven
Sorry I cannot be a help to you. The Cravens are my husband's relatives and I do not know that much about them seeing how neither he nor his parents don't know anything either. However, I will share what I do know about them. My husband's name is Eddie Craven. His parent's are Buell Chester (Chester) and Rosemary Parker Craven. His grandparents are Pervie Lee and Macie Henderson Craven. Great grandmother was Pairlee Craven (maiden name unknown) I do not know what her husband's name was. Oh, and Chester had 3 brothers: an infant brother who was unnamed. Donald and Pervie Loyd. He had one sister named Sybil Craven Whisenhunt who married David Whisenhunt. Pervie Loyd had a son named Pervie Loyd Jr. who was better known as Pete. Pairlee still has a living daughter named Henrietta. However, I do not know how to get in contact with her. I hope this is some help to you. You may send me a private message through my email which is sunshine4jennc@gmail.com and if I learn anything else, I'll let you know.

Daniel Chester Minor
Im looking for any info. on Daniel Chester Minor, B 1869, d ? I think he is buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in Lilburn, Ga.

He married Nora E Hodges from Loganville and had a daughter, H Jether Minor,b1896,d 1970.They, at one time lived in Winder Ga. when Jether was a small child.
He and her mother divorced when she was 6 yrs old. Long story about him, Thought to have been from the Minors in the St. Mtn, Ga. area. Ive been told for years that he was buried in this Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Before it got cleaned up I tried to find the plot, but couldn't.

Any info would be great. Contact me at

Morgan ancestry
Hi, I am descended from Charles Randolph Morgan. Wondering if you have info on Anny Graves Cherokee ancestry. I am also stuck at her first husband, Charles Morgan. From ancestry.com I find that he was born in 1800 in TN and died in 1842. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Weyman Eugene Williams
I'm sorry I'm not going to be able to help you. I haven't come across Weyman in my family tree. He's not in my direct line, but could be on one of the branches.

I have a Maudie Mae Swann marrying my great uncle Thomas M Williams early 1900s.

Be blessed in your hunting.

Bessie Morgan
Kathy,

Bessie Morgan was the daughter of Rufus and Elmira Morgan. I see she was born in 1887 but there are not many records of her after that. I see she married D. O. Hogland in 1903 but divorced him in 1909. They had one daughter, Sadie Hogland, and one son, Mel Wilson Hogland. Mel is buried at Graves Gap Cemetery.

Do you have any more information on Bessie and her daughter Sadie?

Thanks!
