Mary Dora Velleco
I went to St. Johns yesterday and happened upon the marker for a Mary D Velleco. Your request suggested she would be near Rita Putnam.
I looked all over in that same section, but no Putnams to be found. She's still on my list & I'll see if I can't come up with more on my next visit.
The backside of this marker includes Mary Velleco Greigg, 9/11/1932-3/1/1995, and Rose Tiesler, 9/11/1915-10/18/2003. If you'd like that pic just let me know.

It was nice talking to you yesterday about the Walden family. My aunt has your number and will be calling soon. You have done a nice job on find-a-grave with the links and pictures. I am still learning the basics. Stay in touch, Susie J.

Could you link Jim to his father, Anthony Marcinkus #83737302. I can't seem to do it from my end. Thanks, Miriam

RE: j.a.Goins/Longfield Cemetery/ TN
Hi Jerry, Thanks for note. Wanted to correct and error I made when I first contacted you. Archie & Maggie Goins are not buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette,Tn. They are at Longfield with Joseph & Susan. I should have said Elmer and his wife Grace Goins and Charles Lee "Chalk" Goins were in Woodlawn. Elmer & Chalk are brothers and sons of Archie's. SORRY

I did not get the attachment for picture of Joseph and the family.

Hi Jerry, thanks for writing me back.I do not have the picture of the Goins family. Just saw it on findagrave in Longfield cemetery.and only shows j.a. Would love to have the whole picture. My dad's sister Alene married Charles Ernst Goins grandson of Archie and g-grandson of Joseph.I will be going to Longfield labor day weekend when I am in Tennessee for Heatherly family reunion to show Charles daughter her grandparents gravesite. Archie & wife maggie are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette,Tn.
My great grandmother was Nancy Elizabeth Walden from Lafollette, she married William Perry McCullah - any relation?
Again, thanks for your response I'm pretty new to findagrave and just found your note. If you have the picture would love a copy. Peggy Heatherly Kosher email

I was taking pictures of a local cemetery and came across his grave and took a picture. He is buried in the Garden of Remembrance.

Joel Parks
RE: Rachel Parks Smith
Was not aware Pheba Ann Proffitt being a first wife but it makes sense as Rachel and AJ got married in 1854, AJ would have 27 yrs old.
This is of interest, I will study. I don't see listing for her grave, unless I'm missing something. Rachel was the sister of my GG grandfather. He married AJ's sister Nancy. Kentucky records (where the Parks were from 1815 and on) are easy to come by but Campbell county is a tough challenge, specifically death certs and marriage records.
Feel free to contact me directly.
Are you related?
