Father of Ervin Garfield Gage
Hi Michael,

You have the father of Ervin Garfield Gage as John Baillis Gage. His father is actually Johnathan James Gage my grandfather's brother. Ervin's mother is listed correctly as Nettie (Leverett) Gage. I was wondering if that is something you could fix?

Thank you so much for maintaining these people.

Hey Michael.I was out at the Mount Comfort Cemetery in Rusk County today.According to the dates on her stone, she died at the age of 35 (noted on stone) so the birth date you have listed isn't correct.I have her birth as approx. 1889? Am I wrong?

I can understand your problem, you are chasing "rabbets" and I am actually photographing what's really out there. When I photograph a cemetery I have photographed every marker there(and it can take more then one trip) to be sure it's correct. But I can not tell what's there if they don't have markers.

RE: Mary Ollyann Hinzman Parsons
Michael,

I believe I added it by mistake. I removed the date. Although I did find reference to her last name as a Hinman instead of Hinzman. Mary is my 3rd or 4th G-Grandmother. I am on my tablet right now and will re-look at my tree on Ancestry later this evening. My Parsons family tree is public on Ancestry.com and I believe we have shared info a few times. My email is jenparsons37019@aol.com if you would like to talk back and forth!

Pat Gardner
Jennie Modie Hughes #100422303
Michael,

Unless there is a separate tombstone for Jennie, I believe that this is the same person as Martha Jane Modie Hughes as Jennie is quite often a nickname for Jane.

On Ellis' second marriage record, he indicates that he had been married once before which accounts for his marriage to Martha Jane.

I have had the creator of Ellis and Martha Jane's memorials transfer them to me as I have additional information on them and they are not in his line. You can transfer this one to me as well and I will combine them, if you do not find a tombstone for her.

Thanks,

Pat Gardner

Disregard previous note. I found a 1940 census record for Smith County which supports your edit request. I will process it shortly.

Hi Michael,

In regards to your edit request, I've noticed the parents you are requesting him to be linked to would have been 50 & 60 years old respectively at the time of his birth. I'm certainly not suggesting that it is impossible for a 60 yr old man to conceive a child. Nor it would it be impossible for a 50 yr old woman either. However that is generally not the norm. Unless it was back in those days, but I really don't know. Normally I very rarely if ever ask for a source of information. However on this edit request I am kindly asking if you could provide something to supports George and Molly as being George Wesley's parents. Feel free to e-mail privately at the e-mail address listed on my profile page. Thank you so much!

RE: I'm tickled.
Michael, Simuel is done, but Artensy is managed by Joyce Kirksey, #47240917.

I have pictures of the grave and are in the process of uploading currently. We took 911 that day and it is taking a long time! Most of this cemetery has not been photographed. We are planning to take a section at a time. Hopefully we will get all you need!

We are so happy to help you re-unite with your family. I know how important this is. We are still looking for anything on my paternal grandparents. We know nothing.

Thank you for allowing us to bless you.

I just want to Thank You so Very Much for posting my Aunt Lula's Headstone. She and my father were the last two of their generation, and he was too ill to attend; however we got to visit with her in Texas a year before she passed. It was one of my Father's Day gifts to him .. then shortly thereafter he fell and broke his hip. I and my family truly appreciate your kindness.
Blessings, Sandi :-)

RE: Westview Cemetery Tyler
I have put most of the few I took when I was there up and may have a few more. I was only there for an hour or so that day and only covered the south-east corner, by the entrance. It was very hot that day and I wanted to visit Oakwood Cemetery also. I was only in Tyler for 2 days. Tyler is a beautiful city and has a great history. Carlton Smail

Thank you for your time and dedication to Find A Grave.

I wish more people could be as "free" and simplistic in their work as you. I certainly do not mean your time and effort; I mean after that, you freely give of your fruited labors. How generous and kind of you.
