Their seems to be two Find A Grave for Samuel T. DeVore-40594555 and Samuel J. DeVore-18643915; which is suppose to be the correct one?

Adelein Beach
Hi Claudia. Adelein was my Grandmother, mother to my Father. Robert E. Beach of Nevada. So we are cousins. I believe I am a late bloomer in this type of search. Or where was my curiosity in the last 50 years? Nice to meet you.

Arizona Langford 1880 Census
I'm so sorry about the last message. I did not mean Amanda whose mother was Parker. I meant Arizona who was 12 years old in the 1880 census and listed as the daughter of Frances Marion Meek. All the rest of the children in the census are the children of Marion Frances and Martha Jane Favor. I know Amanda is the daughter of Parker. Please fill me in on Arizona Langford and who her mother is?

Amanda Jane Meek
I noticed in the census records that Amanda Jane Meek had the last name of Langford. Do you know why this is when I thought the Father of Amanda is Frances Marion Meek and her Mother Parker? Can you tell me why she has a different name?

Grace Foley Maybrier
Saw your comments on Grace's memorial page. Grace was my grandmother's sister. Have never heard of or found any step-siblings in my research. Are you related to the Foleys?

Johnson, Esther, Linn Grove Cem
I posted photos per your request for Esther Johnson. There is no stone for her. I checked with the office and they say possibly she was cremated and buried with Karl A. Johnson so the photo is of his stone with two flat stones for other family and the family large stone in background.

Tommy Fenton
Goldie Beach
My father, Thomas B. Fenton, passed away in 1983. He was cremated and his wife at the time took the ashes with her when she moved to New Mexico. My uncle, Francis (Frank) Fenton, is buried in Bloomington at Park Hill. My aunt Marquerite (Peggy) Fenton Dennison passed away in September of this year and is buried in Pekin, I believe. Not sure where my paternal grandmother (Pearl Fenton) is buried. I did find my great-great grandfather Daniel Fenton on the 1900 and 1930 census records. It has him listed as living in Lexington City.

My father, Thomas Bernard Fenton, used to take me as a kid to "Grandma Goldies" in Lexington (would have been in the late 60's). Do you happen to know their relationship? I have found several of the old Fenton graves in McLean County but can't seem to locate my grandfather or the grave for Daniel Fenton.

RE: NIMROD DOVE HEFNER
Dear Claudia - I would be delighted - that is the only picture we have of Nimrod. He is my 3rd great grandfather on my mother's side. Do you have other photos of the family, and what is your connection to Nimrod? I would be happy to share whatever info I have, if you are interested.
Many Regards,
Jenny

RE: CONLEY
Dear Claudia, I am married to a Conley. My maiden name was Nicholson. My husband's father was born in Albany, NY. They were there for many generations. The Conley's on our side came from I believe Ireland then into New York State. If I can help any just ask. Ancestry is interesting work. It is interesting how we are all related eventually. Who knows maybe you are related somehow to my Conley's. Talk again. Take care, Jackie

William was next to her. There was already a memorial for him on find-a-grave so I posted the photos there. Just wanted to let you know.

RE: NIMROD'S PHOTO.
Claudia

Wish I did have more photos. They are scarce as hen's teeth

I have pictures of Mary and Nimrod's daughter, Hattie Hefner, who was my great grandmother and lived with my family for several years when I was a little girl.

I have not been sharing my tree partly because it includes many lines, and partly because my assumptions or errors are my own. There is a lot of bad information out there that gets perpetuated because someone takes a tree in faith.

If you have some specific individuals you are interested in, I would be happy to share that. I have an obituary of Mary Hayes Hefner.

Let me know

Regards

Eleanor

RE: MARY ELIZABETH HAYS
I did get it, and thought I sent a thank you. If not, thanks very much. I will email a picture of Nimrod Dove after I close this message.

Thanks for your patience

Frank and Laura Beach
Hi Claudia

Thanks for posting this picture. Frank Beach was the son of my gggrandmother Mary E Hayes and her first husband William Beach.

After William died, Mary married Nimrod Dove Hefner.

Maybe we would exchange information. I have a picture of Nimrod Dove, and but not Mary. Hoping to find someone who might have a picture of Mary.

Regards

Eleanor Gibson
