I am trying to reach out to anyone that knew my grandfather he died in 1994 and
I never got to know him or my family on his side. i am trying to find anyone
that is related to him. I notice you created a profile for him on find my grave
and was wondering if you knew how I could get in touch with any of his and my
family members? My father is his only heir. I live in Oklahoma and it is just so
hard for me to find anything out so if you could help it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Joni

Thanks for all your hard work. Clarence's stone only has one "m" in it and his daughter spells it with one "m". Also his wife's name has the same typo.

KC Jayhawker
Shearer
Hi,
I believe that the grave marked as Grance Rice Shearer is actually that of Grover Price Shearer that was born 4 Nov 1884 in Winchester, Clark, KY and died 26 Oct 1947 in Marion County, West Virginia.
It is reasonable to believe that he is in the family lot as James W. Shearer was his father.
If this is your family, I am sure you know more about him that I do. I have been working to link the family together and do not have a Grance Rice in my database.
THANK YOU for all your hard work and effort with Find A Grave, I have been able to find many of my family thanks to your Memorials.
Kindest regards,
Sandi

Roger Rhoads
Milford Ater and Mildred Blair
He was the pastor at the church I grew up in, and she was his wife. They were divorced in 1977 and both later re-married. She to Gene Blair. Your photo shows them buried side-by-side in the mausoleum at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. There must be an unusual story there somewhere, but I am not aware of it.
