|Marilyn Birkby||Joyce Lucile Stunkel Jarmin|
Can you tell me how Joyce fits in with the rest of the Stunkel's that are buried in the Bird City Cemetery. The caretakers of the cemetery tell me that they think her husband, Harold is buried beside her but I couldn't find a tombstone. I was born in that area of the country and I am working on both the Bird City Cemetery and the St Francis Cemetery. A relative has contacted me with information that Harold is buried with his first wife in Nebraska, however, if he was married to Joyce when he died, I would think that she would have been the one to choose his burial place. Any information that you could give me would be appreciated. I have beeen asked to remove his name from the Bird City Cemetery but Cheyenne County says he is buried there.
Can you help me with this dilemma?

|E. Coffman||James Oran Messler find a grave listing.|
According to Oran's obit found in the Custer County Republican, Feb 9, 1899 he was 20 years 3 months and 23 days at death. It says: "Oran: only son of Thomas Messler living six miles south of Berwyn; aged 20 years 3 months and 23 days. James Oran Messler was born in Illinois Oct 7th, 1878. When an infant 7 months old his mother dying he was taken to raise by a Mr. Tinder where he lived until he came to reside with his father and sisters about two months ago when death claimed him; though his stay among us was short he won many friends and associations. He leaves a father and two sisters to mourn his loss." The father would be Thomas Messler who is buried next to Oran. One sister was Ida May Messler Coffman Boyles, also buried in the Ansley Cemetery, and the other sister was Amanda Ellen "Ella" Messler Barrows Neilson who died in Oregon in 1953. Thanks--Esther Coffman

In reply, I will transfer any of the names you request, but the easiest way for me is if you would go to each memorial, click on EDIT on the upper right, then click on SUGGEST A CORRECTION OR PROVICE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, then just put in transfer and your Find A Grave ID number. Thanks
