RE: Memorial # 128779727, Noah K Burton
Of course. We need to get together and work on North Forest Cemetery/Saint Anne's Cemetery. We have some people listed twice. Once by you and once by me. We need to figure out which portion of the cemetery they are actually in, and correct it. Do you have any proof that Ruth and James Washington Cole were Catholic or why they would be buried in Saint Anne's Cemetery?

This gentleman is actually buried at Ft Logan National Cemetery, not Ft Lyon as in your request. This is a common error with the multiple contributions of military memorials. You can enter another request for the correct cemetery. I have notified the group that can change this on the memorial page. Good luck!

You are welcome. I enjoy going to the cemetery. It not only gives me exercise because of the hills but I get to help people out.

Sorry, just saw your post, yes, by all means, you may use the photos. The reason I took those is I knew a person by that last name but can't recall from where. He may have been living in Kansas City, MO. I live in Omaha, but was born in Sioux City, so that is why the photos from there. Usually in the summer I go to Sioux City with requests from a few cemeteries and try to fulfill them. If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. Leah

I appreciate your request to care for the memorials of John F Wood and Lorraine Wood. However, they are my aunt and uncle also. I guess this would make us cousins. I will gladly work with you to maintain their memorials and give you proper credit for your contributions, but prefer to retain under my management. Thank you.

I would be happy to give you his memorial, but could you make the request though the edit/suggest buttion on his memorial?

Thank you,

I will put the information on his memorial. There are hardly any stones in this cemetery. There are stone pillars, kind of, that have the names of all buried there, written on them. That is the only way we know that there is a person buried in this cemetery.

I do not have an actual headstone for this person. Only the name on the plaque. Very few headstones exist in this cemetery. If you need anything further, please let me know. Please send me a note on the other last names you are looking for as I don't have access to it and can't remember all the names you had listed. Thank you very much.

John Reiss şMem.
First of all thank you for the correction on your Grandfathers Obit. I had been given the wrong information of his place of birth, I have now corrected it.
I also have now turned his obit over to you, for who better can tell the life story of the dearly departed than their own family.

Like the ancient Egyptian saying
"Speak my name and I shall live again" Here is your chance to make your Grandfather John Reiss live again.
