RE: Victor/goldfield
I was so exited to find your facebook page for My Obsessions, Family History and Victor Colorado. I see that you have posted several of my photos. I would like to comment on those photos and add more info on them but can't get a comment link. Any suggestions? My husband's parents, Alfred and Agnes Hogan owned the grocery store in Elkton (you posted that photo). My husband's older brother, Bert, and older sister, Violet, were born in Elkton. My Husband, Alfred, was born in Victor. I have been trying to find more info on Fred Hogan (My husband's grandfather) who was married to Fannie Jane Harris. They had two children, Alfred (my husband's dad) and Meredith. Fred seemed to have been a well known man in Victor, Colorado in the early 1900's. They lived at 1207 Portland Ave. in Goldfield.

RE: Edward K Moore - Crownhill
Hello La Jean,

Sorry for the very late reply on your requests. Due to lack of time and so many requests it is hard to complete them all in a timely basis. Also I have been off line for a very long time due to personal reasons.

You were asking me if I had any information for Edward K. Moore. I am sorry to say I do not. I photograph his place of interment and made him a memorial. I posted this photo on his memorial for you. I do know he is laid to rest with his wife Genevieve Moore.

Barbara, John and Harry's mother
La Jean, a wonderful cemetery walker in Ashland PA has posted a photo of Barbara Kiefer Peter's grave, and she and I have corresponded several times, she is wonderful. She visits them for us whenever she goes to the cemetery, isn't she great?! Since she is so devoted to them, I did not ask her to let me manage them. Anyway, you can link Barbara Peters Klassen and John C. Peters to their mother - her memorial number is 81453943.

Thanks, Cuzn!
Becky

RE: Harry L. Peters in Crown Hill
Hi,
I thought I sent a message to you but I don't see it in your messages or in my email sent folder. This might be a duplicate but any rate, I merely walked a section of the cemetery and took pictures and then entered them into Find A Grave. Other than that, I don't have any further information on Harry. I did post a picture, so you can check that out. It is a bit blurry but readable. There are no other Peters buried next to him that I can discern from my photo log.
If there is any other help I can offer please do not hesitate to ask. David

RE: Domitilla McBride Memorial
Hi. Domitillia was my maternal grandmother. Her grandfather was "Jesus Arviso" the boy who was taken by the apache and sold to the navajo for a black pony.

My grandmother's family history is facinating and I'm so proud to be her granddaughter. My mother Dora (McBride-Johnson) now lives in ABQ. She will be 85 on February 3rd, 1213. She was born in 1928. She met my dad (Wilbur (Johnny) Johnson while he was an "Air traffice controller" in Grants.

Domitillia's life was not her own. She wanted to study in Santa Fe as a young girl, but instead was made to give up her dreams for an arranged marriage instead. She was very young at the time. I try to imagine those times when women were considered almost property. She had 11 babies (According to my mom) only six survived and barely) I always imagined relations living in Grants, Cubero and San Fidel were maintaining the grave site. I hope so. However, after all the missed opportunities I'd love to maintain the site.
Sincerely, Debbie

Steve Bower
George Alexander Bauer d.1964, Allie Irene Bauer d.1947
Hello,
I see you have George Alexander and Allie Irene Bauer in your "Bauer" virtual cemetery - memorials # 12822989 and 12822944. I thought this George Alexander Bauer was b.1887 the son of Charles Bauer and Ida Mae Young. I'd like to confirm if I have the right George Alexander. Do you have any detail of his relations?

BTW, they're in the 1840 census here:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VR67-1XK
And Allie's death record with her parents:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/VP2P-1J2

Thanks,
Steve Bower

Just~Us Relatives
RE: Vera Venita Wilson
Hi La Jean,

My information comes from obituaries and that was my fault, because one of her obituaries from the Spirit Lake Beacon does say "Isaac E. & Ida May McConnell Wilson" and one from the Milford Mail says her parents are "Isacc and Ida Mae Edward". The corrections to her last name have been made.

Kind regards,
Keith A Justus

RE: Charles Hanneman
Hi;
You are so very welcome! You may have noticed that I only have the first 25 words of his obituary, if you have available the rest, I would happily add it. Or if you would like this memorial trasfered to you, just let me know. Then you can change anything or add what you'd like.

Matthew Hout-Reilly
RE: Miller Woodlawn
La Jean,

Thanks for all your help. If you could look for other Hout members burried anywhere, is greatly appreciated. If they are burried up there they are mine, since those were the only Hout up there.

There is a Francis Daisy Hout Botsford b. 08 JUN 1879 in Pennsylvania d. 17 DEC 1977 in Bremerton. Her husband was George S. Botsford - that's all I have. Francis Daisy Hout Botsford is the daughter of Martin and Catherine Hout, so not sure if she was burried around them or not.

Any help up there is greatly appreciated.

J.C. West
Just wondering if you are related to J.C. West. Received our Cibola Beacon today listing his obituary. As my grandmother knew J.C. and his wife Bea she was interested in me making a memorial to him on findagrave. Grandma recently moved in with me and among her belongings was an album recorded by Bea West.
