|Bonnie Hoy||Emily Grovenburg Norton|
I found information on Emily in Rootweb.com
The fathers name is different than what they have on Find A Grave. Look for Hendrick and Sarah Smith Grovenburg.

|Frederick Porter||RE: Amanda Sherwood|
Sorry I could not locate Amanda's marker. The Sherwood's in Byron are a bit problematic as the earliest ones all have much later stones placed on their graves by descendants, and the original stones do not survive. The area around Amanda's parents is well marked, so I assume Amanda may be buried in an older part of the cemetery. I tried to note families around illegible stones, and had good luck identifying some, but not your relative. It is interesting that Amanda's mother's name is spelled Gratia, not Gracia, on her monument.
Have a good weekend,

|Janet Stout||RE: Mary Bacon memorial|
I have photographed the entire cemetery and at the time did not find a gravestone for a Gad (George) Bacon who died in 1928. I called the person who keeps the burial records and they do not have a record of Gad (George) Bacon who died on 6 Dec 1928 buried there. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Janet
