Claude & Dulsey Appleton
Are you related to Claude or Dulsey Mae Appleton? Dulsey was my great grandmother's sister, Lenella Duran. Looking for family to connect to.

Just wanted to let you know that I am in the process of adding Sadie Lanier to FindAGrave. I have linked her to her parents- Matthew Cornelius Lanier and Kitty Appie Thompson Lanier. Let me know if you would like her to be transferred to your care.

William & Inez Lanier
YAY! Folks at Woodlawn finally located the grave sites for William and Inez Lanier. As I mentioned, their records are spotty due to several fires over the years, but they found them and I have posted photos.

RE: Sarah & Sampson
HI NADINE, THANK'S FOR RESPONDING TO MY INQUIRY ABOUT THE GRAVESITES OF SARAH AND SAMPSON.WHEN I WENT TO THE CEMETARY WHERE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE, I COULDN'T FIND THEM. SOME PARTS OF THE CEMETARY WAS SO OVERGROWN WITH WEED'S, I WAS AFRAID TO WALK INTO THEM, BECAUSE I AM SO SCARED OF SNAKES.WE EMAILED THE LITTLE CHURCH TO SEE IF THEY KNEW WHERE THEIR GRAVES WERE, BUT WE GOT NO RESPONSE. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WHO WOULD KNOW, I SURE WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO THEM. I PLAN TO GO BACK TO THE CEMETARY WHEN IT GET'S WARMER. MAYBE I'LL GET LUCKY THIS TIME. LOVE BARBARA

RE: Earl McKinnon Morgan
NadineG,

I have Earl McKinnon Morgan's Father, Frederick Rees Morgan, and his Mother, Jane McKinnon.

I also have his Grandparents, Frederick John Morgan & Mary Rees.

I'll put the information I have up on Earl's memorial sometime today.

I also found a newspaper article that mentions Earl M. Morgan, which may or may not be about
Earl McKinnon Morgan. Here's a link to the article:

JENKINS family
I'm searching Amos Jenkins and family.

What I have so far is that there is an Amos Jenkins b 1790 who married Mary Pollis Ellis.

His son Amos Jenkins b 1820 d 1910 who married Catherine Mozingo.

Then Amos Jenkins b 1850 d 10/6/1916 who married Sallie Ann Coombs then their son Amos Jenkins b 2/12/1877 d 11/23/1942 who married Rossie Taylor

Not sure that I have all the dates correct. Would love to have correct info

DEAR NADINE.
I WENT TO THE MOUNT PLEASANT CHURCH CEMETARY LAST SUNDAY, AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO LOCATE GRANDPA SAMPSON'S AND SARAH'S GRAVES. DO YOU KNOW IN WHAT PART OF THE CEMETARY THEY'RE BURIED? THE CEMETARY SEEMED TO BE ON 3 OR 4 LEVELS. THERE WAS ONE PART OF THE LOWER LEVEL THAT HADN'T BEEN MOWED IN A GOOD WHILE.I DIDN'T WANT TO GET IN THERE BECAUSE I'M SCARED TO DEATH OF SNAKES. I WAS WONDERING IF WE WERE AT THE RIGHT PLACE.IS THERE TWO MOUNT PLESANT CHURCHES IN YANCEY COUNTY? I WOULD APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH IF YOU COULD HELP ME WITH THIS. OR IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO MIGHT KNOW FOR SURE WHERE THEIR GRAVES ARE.I WANT SO MUCH TO TAKE THEM FLOWERS. THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE.LOVE COUSIN BARBARA

I'm interested in the Amos Jenkins line. I've seen a website that says Amos Jenkins b 1850 d 1916 who married Sallie Coombs. His father is Amos Jenkins be 1982- d 1910 and that Amos married Catherine Mozingo. SO who is the Amos Jenkins in the Coombs Cemetery that is b. 1824 ??????

HI NADINE
I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE INFORMATION ON THE YANCEY COUNTY HONEYCUTT'S THAN I DO.ESPECIALLY GRANDPA SAMPSON AND WAITZEL AVERY HONEYCUTT.I HAVE SEEN ON ANCESTRY.COM THAT SAMPSON WAS MARRIED TWICE. FIRST TO SARAH BRIGGS, AND THEN TO RUTH HONEYCUTT.BUT THE DATES DON'T SEEM TO WORK OUT.SARAH SEEMED TO HAVE LIVED LONGER THAN SAMPSON,SO THEY MUST HAVE BEEN DIVORCED, AND I DOUBT THAT.NEITHER OF THEIR NAMES ARE MENTIONED ON HIS MEMORIAL.I HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH A RELATIVE OF EPHRAM MOORE HONEYCUTT, BUT SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO KNOW ANY MORE THAN I DO.GENEOLOGY IS SO CONFUSING AT TIMES. IT'S LIKE THESE RELATIVES NEVER EXISTED, AND YOU KNOW THEY DID.IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY INFORMATION, DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO MIGHT.I'D APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH IF YOU'D LET ME KNOW. LOVE COUSIN BARBARA

I would love to have copies of the other Walker pictures you took. As you stated, they are probably children, and the photos could answer some questions I have. Thank you for thinking of it and taking the extra pictures. I really appreciate your help.

No problem, if you need any more in the area let me know. The flowers were already there. I don't know if it was a relative or someone else. Alot of the graves had flowers on them after Memorial Day. The cemetery was real busy then.
