RE: Harrison Edward Eggers FAG #22572088
Hey, Randy! Thanks for the permission. I hate it when my PC is giving me trouble--really puts a crimp in everything, doesn't it! Hope you are having Spring weather--we've slid past Spring and are into Summer already (sigh). Have a great day! Kathy

RE: Eli Owsley
Welcome....I have been wanting to go up to Putnam Co MO for several years as I have family in Sprigg & Howard, then discovered my Grandson in law also has family there. I did all the graves in both cemeteries but have some I can't read.

RE: Dudley Ragland 1837
Added: Nice find!
Also, corrected her year of birth to 1825.
So Dudley's son, James Ragland, was b.IN Hendricks Co, verified.
Is it possible you were named after Jemima Randall?

Re: #18949589

Would you add their marriage year: 1843, so when I add her m2 the spouses line-up correctly. Also, do you have anything you want to add to the page for Delilah (our shared ancestor)?

Memorial Page #18949589

Thank you for the nice Bio on this shared ancestor. I was able to find the obit (thank you, again) and he died of "flux." It was hard to read, but I recognized the word. I'll have to go back to the page and check to see if you did the cemetery photo, too. I think you did, so thank you, again. May I copy it for my family's genealogy?
Be Well,

James Lyon
Crosby Farm Cemetery
Thanks Randle for all the cool photos from this resting spot. I had been searching for these folks since the begining of 2010, but had become dsitracted by other finds on the tree. My wife is a Great granddaughter of John Bradford Perkins and my family ties in with the Perkins through Daniel and Lovina Eggers. Their daughter Mary married Enoch Wright who are my Grandparents 4 Greats back and down through the Robinson family of Coatesville. I suspected them to be way further south than Roachdale. Is the grave easy to access with permission? Id love to take my family there sometime soon.

RE: Earl Replogle
Using flour to read hard-to-read gravestones: I wear a glove, grab a handful of flour from a zip-lock bag and put on the stone, repeat this until all writing is covered, then I gently smooth the flour over the writing with my gloved hand and hopefully it will make the information more readable. When finished, I usually take a wisk broom and brush off the flour.

RE: Cora Replogle
I'm not a member of the Replogle family tree. Cora is a member of the Horn family tree. Her mother was Samantha Horn. I have taken on the HUGE task of tracing the Horns who moved to Davis County, Iowa and beyond. A group of brothers and sisters left Kentucky to settle on the Iowa/Missouri border. Interestingly enough, one of the brothers was a Southern sympathizer and his family remained in Missouri. The rest moved to Iowa. becomes a lot more personal when you research your family tree!!

Thanks again for the help!

Cora Replogle
Thanks for connecting Cora to her parents. It will be helpful for other researchers, too.
