Hi Sandra,
Anna Woodruff Badgley is my 5th great grandmother.
Would you please transfer her to me? I would like to fill in more family information and burial date and place.
Thanks, Kathy

Frances Grudzinski Michalski
Hi again, I dug a little deeper and found the death cert for Frances and her daughter. They definitely died on Feb. 18, 1963. The newspaper article was dated Feb. 20 and never gave another date, just the days of the week. So somehow it must have been assumed that the 20th was the date of death. I have made my corrections.

Find A Grave Memorial# 105721077
Hi Sandy, it's been awhile. I just found a newspaper obituary for Elaine Michalski Nied [Find A Grave Memorial# 105721077] and her mother, Frances Grudzinski Michalski saying they were killed in a train-auto accident on Feb. 20,1963 and both were buried on the 22nd. Where did your info come from?

Jonas Vogt Memorial# 105471318
Hi Sandra,
I'm a direct descendant of Jonas Vogt and was glad to see his burial location is shown on the memorial you created. I'm wondering if there is a grave marker remaining or was this find a result of cemetery records? Looking forward to your reply.

May I add info to this? Are you a relative? I've been doing some research on this family. There might be a duplicate memorial.
Thx ms

Would you get together with Rose and delete two and I will post a photo to the remaining listing

I'm doing some research of this family and would like to add some things to this memorial. Wonder if I could take it over? The markers next to it are family members of his I'm also managing.
Thx Marlene

No problem Sandra!
I went in the office to see if they had a stone, then realized you gave the wrong section.
Glad I finally found it for you.

Know wonder it took me so long to find them. You have the wrong section listed. They are in Section 23

RE: Jacob Noe
Yup I screw up. I got the wrong Jacob Noe. I have J. Noe the one who died 1/24/1812. I uploaded the photo to find a grave and then saw the dates didn't match and deleted the photo. Not sure why I didn't reach out to you. My first oops on find a grave.

My apologies Sandra. I will be going back and I will look for him. Hopefully within the month.

Kind regards,

RE: Jacob Noe
Hello Sandra,

If you could refresh my memory and send me his memorial number?
This way I can look through my photos for that cemetery to see what might have happened.

Sorry for any confusion.

Kind regards,

They are related, but distant cousin and I can link them to their family if you want to transfer them. I appreciate what you and your husband have done. Not all the Roses, just the ones I sent you updates on. I will take a look at the others to see if they fit in my Ancestry Tree.

birth locations in VA/WV
There are hundreds and hundreds of findagrave memorials which give birth location as Virginia when it is prior to West Virginia statehood. Many contributors indicate this and explain in the bio as do I. SO I would think it is a personal preference. Afterall, if you look up census or marriage documents in counties in Virginia prior to West Virginia statehood, they are listed as Virginia. Is this a major concern that it can't stay that way?

RE: Alice Starr
You're very welcome. She was right next to her parents which made finding her easy! I recently found her husband's family in Birmingham Cemetery but some other volunteer had already taken all those pictures. Glad to be of service!
